Are you referring more to the side of fixing hardware on phones, like broken screens, and stuck keypads, or the software side?

    Hi,

I'm a telecom network engineer and I thought I'd put all the electronics stuff I learned at uni to use by learning to repair cell phone handsets.

Just wondering, how do I go about this? Is there a recommended course?

Also, is it worth my time? I'm not sure how many jobs there are out there for repairing phones, most of the time contract phones are sent back to the manufacturer if they are broken. Probably then recycled.

    Thanks,
    Andy
