    I would do the same thing as well. Copy the ringtone from the Ericsson, save it to the computer, then copy the ringtone from the computer to the Galaxy S, and use it as a notification tone.

    You're better off connecting the phone to your computer and copying the files over that way. You need to move the files on the sd card to Media/Audio/Notifications and Media/Audio/Ringtones (I think those are the folders).

    I have always had Sony Ericsson phones, until now. Getting on ok but want to use a specific tone for clock alarm, and message alert that I had on my old phone. Although I have managed to bluetooth the 'tones' on to my Samsung Galaxy, they remain in the bluetooth directory.
    When I look in the message setup tones list, it has it's own list, same with the alarm tone list, and no option to import from bluetooth directory. Can anyone tell me if this is possible and how to do it please.
