    I see, that's great that your phone have protection of overheating nor overcharging. But still you have to take cautions also with the car charger you use, it must also reliable and protects also your phone.

    I found out what the problem was! It was not the charger, it's because of the phone. My phone stops charging when the phone is overheated it's a safety mechanism that kicks in to stop the phone from over heating.If I'm doing something that takes up a lot of power, I have to let the phone cool down before charging it.

    What phone are you referring to? Is the car charger made for it? It's possible that the car charger isn't putting out the same amount of power as the wall charger.

    My phone charges fine when I plug it into a wall charger.
    However, when I try to plug it into a car charger the phone's charge light appears but the phone does not charge.
    Why is the phone not charging with a car charger?
