    Sending a Text Message (SMS)

    1. From the Home screen, open the Messages app.
    2. To start a new message, tap the plus sign (+).
    3. Tap the To field and enter the contact name or its phone number.
    4. In the Add text box enter your message.
    5. To send the icon, tap the Send icon.
    6. If you want to save the message as draft and send it later, press the Back key.
    Note: You have a limited number of characters for a single message and if you exceed the limit you will be billed for more than one single text, but the message will still be delivered as one.
    Note II: In you enter an email address in the To field, attach an item, compose a very long message or add a message subject, your message will automatically become a multimedia message (MMS).

    Sending an MMS (Multimedia Message) and Attaching a File to It

    1. From the Home screen, open the Messages app.
    2. To start a new message, tap the plus sign (+).
    3. Tap the To field and enter an email address, mobile phone number or a contact name.
    4. If you also want to add a subject, tap the More options icon and select Add subject.
    5. In the Add text box, enter your message.
    6. To attach a file to your message, tap the Attach icon and select the attachment type -> select the item that you’d like to attach.
    7. After attaching a file, tap to see more options for replacing, removing or viewing the attachment.
    8. To send the MMS, tap the Send icon.
    9. To save it as a draft, press the Back key.

    Creating a Slideshow

    1. After adding a video, photo or audio in the MMS you want to send, tap Attach and select Slide.
    2. Select where you’d like to insert the next slide.
    3. Then after adding the slide you have one of the following options available:
    • Tap Attach and select to add a new video or photo.
    • Tap Attach -> tap Audio if you’d like to add music or a voice recording.
    • Tap Add text and enter a caption.
    • Tap if you’d like to see the options you have for replacing, removing or viewing the attachment.
    4. Then tap the More options icon and select Preview. To see the playback controls, tap on the preview screen once.
    5. When you’re done with the slideshow, tap the Send icon.
    6. To save the MMS as a draft, press the Back key.

    Forwarding a Message

    1. Open the Messages app.
    2. Then tap a contact or phone number to see the exchange messages you had with that contact.
    3. Then to forward a message, tap the desired message and select Forward.
    4. Tap the To field and enter one or more recipients.
    5. Tap the Send icon to forward the message.

    Sending a Message to a Group

    1. From the Home screen, open the Messages app.
    2. Then tap the plus sign (+) -> tap the Contacts icon and select multiple recipients.
    3. If you want to send an SMS to your group, check Send as individual messages.
    4. If you want to send an MMS to a group, uncheck Send as individual messages.
    5. Tap the Add text box and enter your message.
    6. To send the message, tap the Send icon.
