    Capturing a Screen Shot

    1. Go to the screen that you want to capture in a screen shot.
    2. Then press the Power key and Volume Down key simultaneously. If the capture was successful, the screen of your HTC One will flash briefly and the screen shot will be automatically saved.
    3. To view your screen shot, go back to the Home screen -> tap the Apps icon -> tap Gallery and select My photos -> then tap the Events drop-down menu and select Albums -> select Screenshots -> tap the desired screen shot.

    Using BlinkFeed

    1. Go to the Home screen and swipe down.
    2. Then tap the Menu icon -> select Topics and services. To switch between tabs, just swipe right or left.
    3. Select the desired services (for example: under [B]New [/B, you can select services such as The Guardian, The Independent, etc).
    4. Tap the Back Key.
    5. BlinkFeed will then display the selected content.
    6. To view that content, simply swipe up and down -> select the item that you’d like to see.
    7. To return to BlinkFeed again, tap the Back key.
    8. To see the BinkFeed menu options, swipe downwards from the top of the screen.
    9. To refresh the BlinkFeed content, swipe down again.

    Checking For Software Updates

    1. From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
    2. Then select Settings -> tap System updates -> touch HTC software update -> tap Check now.
    3. If there’s a system update available, you should follow the on-screen prompts to download and install it.
    4. If there’s no new update available, tap OK.

    Manage Your Date Usage

    1. From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
    2. Then select Settings -> tap More -> select Usage.
    3. The current usage cycle is displayed.

      Note: The usage displayed under date usage should be used only a as a guide. Since it’s measured by the phone, it may differ from the actual data usage shown on your invoice.

    4. If you’d like to change the usage cycle date, tap Reset data usage and scroll to select the new date.
    5. When ready, tap OK.
    6. If you want to set a data limit or enable data usage alerts, check Alert me about data usage options or Limit mobile data usage and then drag the horizontal lines to set the desired level for each (the limit and alert).
    7. You can also limit the data usage of individual apps. To do so, go to the desired app and then check Restrict background data.
    8. Read the Restrict background data? warning and tap OK.
    9. Tap the Back key.
    10. Your data usage settings have been adjusted.

    Change Your Account Synching Settings

    1. From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
    2. Then tap Settings -> tap Accounts & sync -> select the desired account type, such as Google -> tap the desired account.
    3. You’ll then see all the synching options.
    4. Tap to check or uncheck the synching options as desired.
    5. Congratulations, your account synching settings have been changed!
