I would like to be able to transfer my calendar from my computer (I can create it in Palm Desktop, Google Calendar or Outlook) into my new Tracfone LG840G, which has a java-based system.

Does anyone know how to do this? I tried using BitPim, but it won't recognize my phone.

I came across a thread that suggested using gcalsync. I went to gcalsync.com, downloaded both the .jar and the zip files first onto my computer, extracted the zip files, and then transferred them onto my phone in the "Other files", and could not install it. With the signed version, I got "Authentication failed". With the unsigned one, it asked me to download gcalsync, and gave an "Invalid descriptor" message. I have never used .jar/.jad files, and am a total noob in the world of semi-smart phones and java.

    Any help would be appreciated.
