So, the sound quality through a headset (decent headset) with the phone is that good? I'm looking at using one device as I currently use two devices now for phone and music. Current phone blows when it comes to music quality.

Are you referring to the quality of the external speaker? If you're using headphones it shouldn't matter. You can adjust eq any way you want.

You should also consider using one device. I use my SIII with a program called Doubletwist and can sync all my music and podcasts just like itunes. Its fantastic.

Thanks for the reply. I kind of figured that would be the response but had to find out before getting both. My Zune is great but it's the size of most older cell phones. Pretty bulky and difficult when it comes to exercising.

I have played with the Samsung S4 a few times, and the sound quality is okay. Iphone 5's sound quality is still better though. I have the 80GB iPod Classic and an iPod Nano 4th Gen, and the sound is just amazing. Nothing beats the sound of the ipod IMO! I still only have these 2 now and didn't get a new one because these devices just can't be beat! You may be able to get better sound from the Samsung Galaxy 4 if you use a better earphone because the one that comes in the package is not really very good. My vote still goes to the iPod

I'm due to upgrade my current phone and will be getting a Samsung. I see many reviews about the Samsung 3 & 4 but none cover anything about music quality. That being said, I'm also looking to upgrade from my current Zune device and was wondering if the music quality of the either of the Samsung devices is comparable to that of the iPod nano series? Thanks
