Do you think you might purchase a solar cell phone charger?

I'm looking at them on eBay, and they have some for around $25. I would definitely recommend checking the voltage to make sure it will work with your phone. It probably will, but it is good to check to make sure.

It looks like you put it out in the sun, and it charges the battery. Then, you plug your phone in the unit and it will charge your phone.

It will probably work good for emergencies.

I haven't seen one sold around here yet. I would think you could easily get a solar cell phone charger instead of a cell phone. That way you can use the popular cell phones, such as the Samsung Galaxy S4, but charge it with a solar charger. Just make sure you check the voltage so you don't hurt the phone or battery.

I wish I could, but to use solar cell phone you need to live in place which has lots of sunny days.

In an attempt to go "green", I have read that many cell phone manufactures are changing how cell phones are made. I heard that there were already solar cell phones on the market. Does anyone have one that they can recommend?
