    Connecting to a Wi-Fi Network

    1. Go to the Apps screen and drag down the Top Frame/Notifications Bar.
    2. Then tap Wi-Fi -> select the network you would like to connect to and then tap Connect.

    Turning Wi-Fi Notification Off

    If the Wi-Fi notifications are turned off, you will no longer receive a pop-up message when accessing apps that require high-data-usage.

    1. Go to the Apps screen and drag down the Top Frame/Notifications Bar.
    2. Then tap Wi-Fi -> touch the Advanced icon located at the bottom left corner of the screen.
    3. Then check Prompt when a saved Wi-Fi hotspot is found near checkbox.

    Turning Bluetooth On/Off

    1. Go to the Apps screen and drag down the Top Frame/Notifications Bar.
    2. Then to turn Bluetooth On, tap the Bluetooth icon.
    3. To turn it back off, tap the Bluetooth icon again.

    Pairing with a Bluetooth device

    1. Go to the Apps screen and drag down the Top Frame/Notifications Bar and tap Bluetooth.
    2. Then turn the Bluetooth switch to On and select the Bluetooth device you would like to pair with.
    3. The other Bluetooth enabled device needs to be set to discoverable mode and in case you’re requested to enter a password, you could try 0000 or 1234, as these passwords are the most common ones used.
    4. Then tap Yes to confirm the connection.

    Turning Mobile Hotspot On/Off

    1. Go to the Apps screen and drag down the Top Frame/Notifications Bar.
    2. Tap Settings -> tap Network Connections and then scroll to Mobile Hotspot -> tap Mobile Hotspot.
    3. To turn Mobile Hotspot to on, slide the toggle to On.
    4. If you want to turn Mobile Hotspot to off, just slide the toggle to Off.
    5. It’s recommended to plug in your BlackBerry Q10 in order to conserve the power usage.

    Setting Mobile Hotspot Security

    1. Go to the Apps screen and drag down the Top Frame/Notifications Bar.
    2. Tap Settings -> tap Network Connections and then scroll to Mobile Hotspot -> tap Mobile Hotspot.
    3. Then tap the Menu icon and select Configure -> tap Security type and select the desired security type.
    4. In the Password field enter a password for your Mobile Hotspot.
    5. When done, tap Save.

    Turning Internet Tethering On

    Using Internet Tethering you can share your internet connection with another handset.

    1. Go to the Apps screen and drag down the Top Frame/Notifications Bar.
    2. Tap Settings -> tap Network Connections -> scroll down to Internet Tethering -> tap Internet Tethering and slide the toggle to On.
    3. Connect to your device via a Bluetooth or USB connection.
