    The settings may be somewhat similar to those found on a Motorola smartphone, so you could use them I guess. If not, check out some of the Tips and Tricks threads I made especially for Motorola devices - there's one for the Droid Razr HD and one for the Razr i XT890 (hit the links to see the threads).

    Haven't try beaming content with other smartphones.. need to check this and hope to try it soon..

    Sharing a Video

    1. Go to the Home screen and tap Apps.
    2. Then tap Gallery -> select the album where the video you’d like to share is located in -> tap and hold the desired video -> tap Share -> select the desired sharing method. You can choose to share your video via Bluetooth, Email, Gmail, Google+, Picasa, etc.
    3. Now follow the on-screen prompts to share your video.
    4. In case the sharing service is not set up on your LG Optimus L3 yet, enter the necessary log in information and then tap Sign in.

    Taking and Sharing a Photo

    1. Go to the Home screen and tap Apps.
    2. Then tap Camera -> frame your subject and tap the Camera icon to take the photo.
    3. In case the panoramic mode is selected, tap the capture icon once to begin recording (and then rotate your smartphone slowly while keeping it steady) and tap the icon again when finished.
    4. After the photo is taken, tap the image preview -> then tap the Share icon and select the sharing method that you’d like to use. You can choose to share your video with Bluetooth, Email, Gmail, Google+, Picasa, etc.
    5. Follow the on-screen prompts to share your photo

    Clearing the App Cache

    1. Go to the Home screen and tap Apps.
    2. Then tap Settings -> tap Apps and swipe left to the ALL tab.
    3. Now select the desired app and tap Clear cache.
    4. The app’s cache is now cleared.

    Clearing the App Data

    1. Go to the Home screen and tap Apps.
    2. Then tap Settings -> tap Apps and swipe left to the ALL tab.
    3. Now select the desired app and tap Clear data -> then tap OK.
    4. The app’s data is now cleared

    Dialing an International Phone Number

    1. Go to the Home screen and tap Phone.
    2. Tap and hold 0 (the zero key) until a + (plus sign) appears.
    3. Then enter the desired international phone number and tap the Phone icon to place the call.

    Beaming Content with another Smartphone

    In order to beam any type of content, both handsets need to be NFC-capable and have the NFC setting turned to ON.

    1. Go to the Home screen and tap Apps.
    2. Then tap Settings -> tap Share & Connect -> turn the NFC switch to ON in case it was not already active.
    3. Enable the Android Beam by turning the Android Beam switch to ON.
    4. Then press the Home key.
    5. Tap the app that you’d like to share. You can select to share contacts, apps, music, browser pages, videos and much more via Android Beam.
    6. Ensure both NFC and Android Beam are enabled on the receiving handset -> go to the information/file you’d like to share and then hold the back of your LG Optimus L3 to the back of the other NFC-enabled device.
    7. When prompted, tap the screen to send/beam the info to the other handset.
    8. Congratulations! You’ve managed to successfully send some information/file via Android Beam!

    Setting up a Lock Screen Pattern

    1. Go to the Home screen and tap Apps.
    2. Then tap Settings -> tap Lock screen -> tap Select screen lock -> tap Pattern -> read the instructions and when ready, tap Next.
    3. Tap and drag your finger on the screen to draw the desired lock screen pattern.
    4. If you want to redraw the pattern, tap Retry.
    5. Or, if you’re satisfied with what you drew, tap Continue.
    6. Now you’ll need to draw the same patter again.
    7. When finished, tap Confirm.
    8. Make sure to read the Choose backup PIN prompt and tap Next.
    9. Set up a backup PIN -> then tap Continue.
    10. Enter the same PIN once again and tap OK.
    11. Congratulations! You’ve successfully set up a lock screen pattern.
    12. Now select to check/uncheck the pattern options, as desired.
