    Performing a Master Reset:

Important! You will lose all data on your phone after performing a master reset (including music, photos and contacts)

    1. While on the home screen, tap the "Menu" capacitive button
    2. Select "Settings"
    3. Tap "Back up and reset"
    4. Select "Factory data reset"
    5. Review the information (what files you will lose if you'll perform the reset) then press "Reset device"
    6. Confirm by tapping "Delete all"

    Checking the Software Version:

    1. While on the home screen, press the "Menu" button on your device
    2. Tap "Settings"
    3. Scroll down and select "About device"

Checking for OTA (over the air) Software Updates:

    1. Tap the "Menu" button while on the home screen
    2. Select "Settings" and tap "About device"
    3. Press "System updates"
    4. Tap "Check Now". After the check is complete, you can choose to download the software update, assuming that one is available. If not, then press the "Home" button to return to the home screen
