I haven't heard it either! I remember going to the store and hearing people talk all the time since the walkie talk seemed to be on speakerphone most of the time.

I wonder if Sprint's new Direct Connect service on CDMA has been successful.

I remember AT&T tried a push to talk service a while back. I'm not sure if that was successful for them or not either.

June 30th, at 12:01 AM, the service should start shutting down.

If you have one of Boost Mobile's iDEN walkie talkie phones, you need to contact Boost Mobile right away. The service will be interrupted and you won't have access to emergencies services (911) either.

You should have been contacted several times about this change. If you're just learning about this now, contact Boost Mobile right away, or purchase a cell phone from another provider.

Boost Mobile phones are sold at many retailers across the country, including Best Buy and RadioShack.
