Aqua is a neat mode in which you can take photos under water. However, before you place your smartphone in water, make sure to check the following:

    1. The battery cover of your smartphone is securely and completely sealed and clicked into place.
    2. Make sure the charging port is covered and secured in place.
    3. Don’t worry about the headphone port as it is waterproof and will work without a cover.

Note: The touchscreen of your Samsung Galaxy S4 Active will not work under water.

    Setting up Aqua Mode

    1. From the Home screen, tap Camera.
    2. Then tap Mode -> tap the Aqua mode thumbnail.
    3. Since the touchscreen of your Galaxy S4 Active will not work under water, you can take pictures or record videos using the Volume key.
    4. To take photos, tap The camera key.
    5. If you want to record videos, tap The record key.
    6. Confirm the USB charging port cover is covered by tapping OK.
    7. Place your smartphone under water, frame your subject and when ready, press the Volume key to capture a photo or to start/stop recording a video.
