    Connecting to a Bluetooth Device

    1. Make sure the Bluetooth device you want to connect your Samsung Galaxy S4 Active has the Bluetooth turned on and is set to discoverable mode.
    2. Then open the Notification Panel and tap the Bluetooth shortcut to turn the feature on. The icon will turn green when Bluetooth is on.
    3. Your smartphone will not search for nearby Bluetooth devices.
    4. Under Available devices, tap the desired Bluetooth handset.
    5. In case you’re required to verify the passkey on both devices, tap Accept and enter the PIN.

Note: The default PIN for most devices is 0000 or 1234.

    6. Check Only visible to paired devices if you don’t want to be seen by all Bluetooth handsets. Otherwise, check Visible to all nearby Bluetooth devices.

    Unpairing Your Device

    1. To unpair a device you connected to, go to the Home screen and press the Menu key.
    2. Then tap Settings -> tap Connections -> tap Bluetooth -> tap the Settings icon located near the paired device and tap Unpair.
    3. From this menu you can also tap Rename if you would like to change the name of the handset.

    Receiving Content

    1. When another Bluetooth enabled device sends content to your Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, you are going to receive an authorization request message on your handset.
    2. To receive the content, tap Accept.
    3. The file will be saved in Apps-> My Files -> All files -> Bluetooth.
