If you are having trouble with battery life on your Gravity Q, you can try one or more of the following tweaks to increase battery life:

    Adjusting Screen Settings:

    1. While on the home screen, press the "Menu" button on your device
    2. Tap "Settings"
    3. Select "Display settings"
    4. Tap "Brightness". Tap the "Brightness" slider and drag it to the left in order to decrease screen brightness
    5. Tap "Save" to save the changes
    6. Select "Backlight time"
    7. Select "8 seconds" then tap "Save"

    Turning Off Bluetooth:

    1. While on the home screen, press the "Menu" key
    2. Find and tap "Bluetooth"
    3. Tap the "Phone" icon to disable Bluetooth

    Checking for Software Updates:

Note: this tip should work only if there is an issue with battery life after updating to a recently released firmware, and only if a hotfix has been deployed in order to fix the issue. If no update is waiting for you in the "Software updates" menu, then the situation will not change after completing the following steps

    1. From the home screen, press the "Menu" button on your handset
    2. Tap "Settings"
    3. Scroll down to and tap "Software updates"
    4. Press "OK"

    Uninstalling Third-Party Applications:

    1. While on the home screen, tap the "Menu" button
    2. Tap "Applications"
    3. Select "Games and Apps"
    4. Press "Delete"
    5. Select the applications that you wish to delete
    6. Tap "Delete"
