Updating to the Latest Software Version Available:

Note: this tip only works assuming that a new software version has been released, which increases battery life or fixes possible battery life issues that may have occurred on a previously downloaded software version. If you're experiencing low battery life after applying a recent update, make sure you perform the steps below regularly, so that you can download and apply any eventual hotfixes once they go live:

    1. While on the home screen, tap the "Menu" button
    2. Tap "Settings"
    3. Select "About device"
    4. Tap "Software update" and follow the on-screen prompts
