    Setting up Exchange Email

    1. Go to the Start screen and swipe to the left.
    2. Then scroll down to and tap Settings.
    3. Touch email + accounts and tap add an account.
    4. Tap Outlook.
    5. In the Email address field, enter the desired email address.
    6. In the Password field, enter your password.
    7. Then tap sign in.
    8. Tap the User name field and enter the user name.
    9. Tap Domain and enter the domain.
    10. When finished, tap sign in.
    11. In the Server field, enter the server address.
    12. Then tap show all settings and check or uncheck Server requires encrypted (SSL) connection, as required.
    13. Tap Account name and type in the desired name.
    14. Make the desired settings and when finished, tap sign in.
    15. Your Exchange email account is now completely set up.

    Setting up Personal Email

    1. Go to the Start screen and swipe left.
    2. Then scroll to and tap Settings.
    3. Touch email + accounts.
    4. Tap add an account.
    5. Touch the desired email account type. For the purpose of this tutorial we’ll go with Google.
    6. Tap the Email address field and enter your email address.
    7. Tap the Password field and enter your password.
    8. When finished, tap sign in.
    9. Congratulations! Your Gmail account has been successfully set up.

    Setting up a Windows Live Account

    1. Go to the Start screen and swipe left.
    2. Then scroll to and tap Settings.
    3. Touch email + accounts.
    4. Tap add an account.
    5. Touch Microsoft account.
    6. Read the message (BEFORE YOU SIGN IN) and then tap next.
    7. In the Email address field, enter the email associated with your Microsoft account.
    8. In the Password field, enter the password.
    9. Then tap sign in.
    10. To back up your data, tap yes.
    11. If you don’t want to back up the data at the moment, tap not now.
    12. The Microsoft account has been set up.

    Removing an Email Account

    1. Go to the Start screen and swipe left.
    2. Scroll to and tap Settings.
    3. Touch email + accounts.
    4. Then tap and hold the email account you wish to delete.
    5. Tap delete.
    6. Tap delete once more to confirm.
    7. The email account has been deleted.

    Finding Email Settings

    1. Go to the Start screen and swipe left.
    2. Then scroll to and tap Settings.
    3. Touch email + accounts.
    4. Tap the desired email account.
    5. You will now see the available incoming and outgoing email settings.
    6. To see more settings, scroll down.
    7. Make the desired changes and when finished, tap done.

    Sending or Receiving an Email

    1. Go to the Start screen, tap the desired email account tile.
    2. In case the tile is no longer on the Start screen, tap the Menu arrow and touch the email account that you wish to use.
    3. Then tap the plus sign (+) located at the bottom side of the screen.
    4. In the To field, enter the desired email address.
    5. Tap the Subject field and enter the desired subject.
    6. Then enter the message that you wish to send.
    7. If you also want to add a photo, tap the Attach icon.
    8. Select the desired album.
    9. Then tap the photo or photos that you want to add -> tap Checkmark icon.
    10. When finished, tap the Send icon located at the bottom side of the screen.
    11. If you want to also check for new messages, tap the Refresh icon.
    12. Tap the email you wish to see.
    13. Your email will be displayed.
    14. If there’s an attachment included in the email, tap the Attachment icon.
    15. The attachment will then download.
    16. To view it, tap the attachment again.
    17. The attachment will then be displayed.
