Importing Contacts from the SIM Card:

1. Tap the "People" icon located on the home screen
2. While viewing the "People" tab, tap the "menu" icon and select "Manage contacts"
3. Tap "Import / Export contacts" and then select "Import from SIM card"
4. Assuming that you have a Google or Exchange ActiveSync account, select the type for the imported contacts
5. Select the contacts that you wish to import and then tap "Save"

Importing a Contact From an Exchange ActiveSync Account:

1. Access the "People" app and go to the "People" tab
2. Tap the search box and type in the contact's name or email address
3. Tap "Search contacts in your Company Director"
4. Touch the name of the contact that you wish to copy
5. Tap "+" to import the contact

Copying Contacts From One Account To Another:

1. Access the "People" app
2. From the "People" tab, tap the "menu" icon and select "Manage contacts"
3. Tap "Copy contacts" and then select an online account or contact type to copy from
4. Select a contact type or account that you wish to copy the contact to

Backing Up Contacts to the Storage Card:

1. Access the "People" app and tap the "People" tab
2. Tap "Menu" and then select "Manage contacts"
3. Tap "Import / Export contacts"
4. Select "Export to Storage card"
5. Choose an account or type of contacts to export, and then tap "OK"

Restoring Contacts:

Note: you can only restore contacts that have been backed up to the storage card by using the "Export to SD card" feature

1. Access the "People" app and go to the "People" tab
2. Tap the "Menu" icon on the screen
3. Select "Manage contacts"
4. Tap "Import / Export contacts" > "Import from Storage card"
5. Assuming that you have multiple accounts set up, select the one for the imported contacts

Merging / Separating Contact Information:

1. On the "People" tab in the People app, tap the name of the contact that you wish to link
2. Tap the "Link" icon
3. Press "All contacts" and then select the contact that you wish to link
4. To break a link, tap the "link" icon and under "Linked contacts", tap the "link" icon associated with the account that you wish to separate

Deleting Contacts:

1. Access the "People" app
2. Go to the "People" tab and tap the "Menu" icon
3. Tap "Delete contacts"
4. Select the contacts that you wish to remove, then tap "Delete"

Managing Contact Groups

Creating a Contact Group:

1. Open the "People" app
2. Tap the "Groups" tab
3. Tap the "+" icon
4. Enter a name for the group
5. Optionally, tap the "Camera" icon to select and assign a photo for the group
6. Press the "menu" icon
7. Tap "Add contact to group"
8. Select the contacts that you wish to add to the group, then tap "Save"
9. After editing the contact's group, tap "Save"

Editing a Contact Group:

1. While viewing the "Groups" tab (in the "People" app), tap "Edit group" and:
   
   
   • Tap the group's name to change it
   • Tap the icon next to the group's name to assign, remove or change the group photo
   • Tap the "menu" icon > "Add contact to group" if you wish to add more contacts
   • Tap and hold the button located at the end of each contact's name, then drag it if you wish to reposition it
   • Tap the "X" button to remove a contact from the group
   
   
2. Press "Save" to save the changes done to the group

Deleting a Group:

1. Access the "Groups" tab in the "People" app
2. Tap and hold the group that you wish to delete
3. Select "Delete group"
4. Alternatively, you can tap the "menu" icon > "Edit groups" and select more than one groups that you wish to remove
