    I realised the same problem and reading your comment I only darkened the walls of the case opening using a black felt pen (permanent marker) and the problem is solved! There is no need to cut a bigger opening just to make it completely dark (antireflect)!

    ah yes - the light is reflecting off of the edge of the case. I would file or cut it down in that area if you can.

    I never noticed that once I got my new cell phone case is when it started doing it. Took it off just to see if it would make a
    difference and it did.

    that's strange. Is there something blocking the flash or camera lens?

    A couple weeks ago my LG Optimus L9 camera started having issues when using the flash. No matter if I shot a pic in the day or night itd have a film look over it.
