    The the pin connector is 4 pounds whereas the one for your stereo is 3. Most of the time you can hook one up to the other but it sounds like something isn't making contact correctly.

    I picked up an LG Optimus Showtime through straight talk Monday . I hooked the 3.5 mm cable to the Pioneer CD player in my truck today to listen to some music and I'm getting distortion and popping from my speakers if I turn it up over about half way. I thought it might be the cable so I hooked it up to a friends phone.(Can't remember his phone) It sounded fine and clear on his. It also makes my little speaker bomb pop and distort. But sounds fine through my ear buds. Anyone know what my problem could be. I shined a flashlight down in my 3.5 mm jack. It looks clean as can be.
