    Hi Percy,

While I did not have first-hand experience with any of these two devices, at first glance I'd most likely pick the HTC Wildfire S.

The reasons for my decision would be that the Wildfire S has more on-board storage (512 MB versus 128 MB) and it also has the ability to add 32 GB microSD cards, whereas the Ericsson is limited to 16 GB microSDs. The Wildfire S also has more RAM (512 MB vs 168 MB), it features Bluetooth 3.0 instead of Bluetooth 2.1, and it benefits from a 5 MP main camera instead of 3.15 MP one. If this matters, the HTC device also has a larger, 3.2 inch display instead of a 3.0 inch one (though you may not notice this difference).

Perhaps more importantly however, is the fact that the Sony Ericsson W8 is limited to Android 2.1 Eclair, whereas the HTC Wildfire S runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

    Hope this helped
