I believe the only differences between the u8652 and 8652 is the u8652 is the Ascend and was released on AT&T. Otherwise they are the same.

i see a lot of reference to so called free cell phone unlocking but when you go to the site it is a complete fake to aquire your information or they want you to complete a survey or some other play on words like
"free to unlock but you pay for the code"

is there actually any way to unlock a smartphone for free.
i have a consumer cellular huawei 8652 (not u8652)

if no free unlocking is possible can somebody give me a reference to somewhere i can at least get reasonably cheap unlocking. i am seeing that they want 25 dollars for this on some sites.
