    iphone is iphone and ios is ios.

    you have to try android phone before you make your decision. they are different and it is up to your habit in using a phone.

    It's all up to you and your personal preference. I would recommend going and checking out some android phones at a local store. A lot of the basic functions are the same but each brand has their own 'skin' and other software that runs on top of android, so they are all a little different.

    I am brand new to these forums, and I would like to hear some opinions.

    This past December, I bought an iPhone 5 and it has been my very first smart phone I've ever owned. I have since seen other phones on tv shows that are androids and they honestly look really cool, but I've never even used an android though.
    I have started considering next year when my contract runs out to buy a different phone instead of another iPhone (I'm sure the 6 will be out by then), but I was wondering what your thoughts, opinions, and reviews have been on this matter and if it would be a bad idea to stray away from the iPhones.
