    Setting Up Wi-Fi Calling

Registering the 911 Address (T-Mobile Only):

In order to use Wi-Fi calling, you need to register your 911 address to the T-Mobile's website. Otherwise, you may get a "REG09" error throughout the setup.

Registering the 911 Address via "My T-Mobile":

    1. Log in to "My T-Mobile"
    2. In the navigation bar at the top, click "Your Profile"
    3. Under "Customer information", click "Edit"
    4. Type in your home address and click the "Save changes" button. It may take up to one hour for the changes to be applied

Registering the 911 Address via "My T-Mobile Beta":

    1. Log in to "My T-Mobile"
    2. Click "Profile" in the navigation bar at the top
    3. Next to "E911 Address", click "Edit"
    4. Type in your address and then tap "Save"
    5. Click "OK" if a confirmation pop-up window appears

Setting Up Your Phone to Use Wi-Fi or mobile Networks for Calls:

    1. While on the home screen, tap "All apps"
    2. Open "Settings"
    3. Under "Wireless & Networks", tap the Wi-Fi switch to enable Wi-Fi connectivity
    4. Press the "More.." icon
    5. Scroll down and then tap the switch associated with "Wi-Fi calling" to enable the feature
    6. Tap "Wi-Fi Calling" > "Connection preferences"
    7. Select one of the following options:
      • Wi-Fi Preferred: when enabled, all calls will be made over an available Wi-Fi network. If a network is unavailable, calls will be made over the cellular network
      • Cellular Network Preferred: all calls will be made over a cellular network. If no network is available, then calls will be made over Wi-Fi
      • Never use Cellular Network: if this feature is enabled, all calls will be made over Wi-Fi. If no Wi-Fi network is available, then phone calls will not connect
