    1. Switch between the front and back camera
    2. Change the flash mode (only available for the back camera)
    3. Select a color effect (only available for the back camera)
    4. Select scene mode (only available for the back camera)
    5. Access the camera settings
    6. Zoom slider
    7. Access the Gallery
    8. Shutter / Camera button
    9. Camera / camcorder switch

    Customizing the Camera Settings:

    While in the camera app, you can access a wide range of options by pressing the "Settings" button. After doing so, you can customize the following settings:

    • Scene mode: Select the scene mode suitable for your environment
    • Grid: Show or hide the composition lines
    • Shutter tone: Change the shutter sound
    • Picture size: Set the image size for your picture
    • Timing Photo: Set the time delay before the camera takes a picture automatically after you touch the shutter icon, or turn off this feature
    • Picture Quality: Adjust the image quality for your photos
    • Face: Turn on or off blink detection or red-eye reduction features
    • Image: Adjust image exposure, brightness, contrast, saturation and sharpness
    • White balance: Select how the camera adjusts colors in different kinds of light to achieve the most natural looking colors for your photos. You can also allow the camera to adjust the white balance automatically
    • ISO: Select ISO level or leave it at Auto
    • Review time: Set whether to review the photo after you take it. You can also select the review time
    • Geo-tag: Turn on to save location data to the captured pictures
    • Restore defaults: Restore default camera settings

    Taking a Picture:

    1. From the home screen, tap the "Camera" icon
    2. Use the zoom slider or the volume key to adjust the zoom level
    3. Select the desired flash mode
    4. Frame your subject on the screen
    5. Tap an area on the screen to focus on it
    6. Press the "Shutter" button to capture a photo

    Taking a Panoramic Picture:

    1. Open the "Camera" app
    2. Tap the "Scene mode" button and select "Panorama"
    3. Tap the "Panorama" button (located where the shutter was) and slowly start panning across the area that you wish to capture
    4. Tap the "End Panorama" button to stop capturing the shot
    5. Tap the "Gallery" thumbnail to view your photo

    Note: to exit panorama mode, tap the "Back" button

    Video Recording

    Customizing Camcorder Settings:

    In the camcorder mode, by pressing the "Settings" icon you can access and adjust the following settings:

    • Video quality: Set the quality for your video
    • Time lapse: Set the time interval between each frame to shoot time lapse videos
    • White balance: Select how the camera adjusts colors in different kinds of light to achieve the most natural looking colors for your videos. You can also choose to allow the camera to adjust the white balance automatically
    • Geo-tag: By enabling this option, you will save location data to the captured videos
    • Restore defaults: Restore default camera settings

    Recording a Video:

    1. Press the "Camera" icon located on the home screen
    2. Tap the switch button to enter camcorder mode
    3. Make the necessary adjustments and frame your subject
    4. Tap the "Camera" button to start recording
    5. To end the recording process, tap the "Stop recording" button
