Verizon has the best service plus lte is really fast. I believe vz has the best service out of all carriers. But they are very expensive, but you get what you pay for. I think att have a lot of drop calls, you said you don't travel a lot. But if you did vz SIII will be global not when you first get the phone. But when vz release the software update!! Cdma network is better than gsm network Imo

Yes, I understand. You asked for the best quality though and IMO they are. A lot of times you really do get what you pay for. Other times, yes, I'm sure you could save a lot of money doing things differently. Paying $500 for a phone is up to the user though. Prepaid carriers usually do not offer the latest smartphones and they usually don't have subsidized phones at all. That is the trade off going with a contract plan.

Anyway, here is a list of all the prepaid carriers and who owns and operates who: http://cellphoneforums.net/general-s...-networks.html

That's the two company's I want to stay far from. Even if you do get a Pre Paid Plan, the price for the service is still outrageous.I'm not going to start paying 90-120 dollars a month. I might as well get a "Plan" to lower the cost of the phone. I still can't believe that the "Masses" are still "Gullible" thinking that they have to pay around 500.00 dollars for a phone. Think about it. Where dose said company generate their money?? It's not the phone, it's the "Service". But until people understand this, ATT, Sprint, Verizon, name the company, will keep on charging you that price.....

I would get a prepaid account with a major provider, either AT&T or Verizon

Net10 & Straight talk are run by the same company and use major provider's towers, but they take a back seat to users that are directly with those major providers as far as connectivity . (apparently)

I'm looking to get a "Pre-Paid" service. The question is, what phone carrier has the best quality, and service areas in the USA??

    Thank You.
