Setting the APN and Turning on Data Settings (T-Mobile and MetroPCS only!):

1. While viewing the home screen, tap "All apps"
2. Tap "Settings"
3. Tap "More…" under "Wireless & Networks"
4. Tap "Mobile networks"
5. Mark the "Data enabled" check box
6. To receive data when roaming domestically, mark the "Data roaming" check box. When roaming internationally, unmark the box to avoid incurring charges
7. Tap "Access Point Names"
8. Select one of the following:
   
   • MetroPCS: fast.metropcs.com
   • T-Mobile GPRS
   • T-Mobile GPRS: fast.t-mobile.com

Manually Selecting the Wireless Network:

1. Tap "All apps" from the home screen
2. Tap "Settings"
3. Tap "More…" under "Wireless & Networks"
4. Tap "Mobile network" > "Mobile operators" > "Search networks"
5. Select tap the desired network

Switching Between 2G / 4G / LTE Connectivity:

1. From any of the home screens, tap "All apps"
2. Tap "Settings"
3. Press "More…" under "Wireless & Networks"
4. Tap "Mobile networks"
5. To use 2G only, tap "Use only 2G networks". NOTE: this can increase battery life

Enabling / Disabling Airplane Mode:

NOTE: Airplane mode disables all the wireless connection on your phone, including data, Wi-Fi, GPS etc.

1. From the home screen, tap "All apps"
2. Tap "Settings" and tap "More…" under "Wireless & Networks"
3. Tap "Airplane mode" to enable or disable this feature

Enabling / Disabling Data Roaming:

1. Tap "All apps" > "Settings"
2. Under "Wireless & Network" tap "More…"
3. Tap "Mobile networks" > "Data roaming"

Enabling / Disabling Emergency Alerts:

1. While viewing any of the home screens, tap "All apps"
2. Tap "Settings" > "More…", under "Wireless & Network"
3. Tap "Cell broadcasts"
4. Mark or unmark the following options:
   
   • Show extreme threats
   • Show severe threats
   • Show AMBER threats
5. Optionally, you can tap "Alert reminder" and select either "Once", "Every 2 minutes", "Every 15 minutes" or "Off"

NOTE: Presidential alerts are enabled by default and can't be disabled
