Assuming that you've recently joined the Android ecosystem then you might find it a bit difficult to transfer your iPhone contacts to your new Android device. Fortunately, transferring your contacts from your iPhone to the Samsung Galaxy Trend Plus is actually a very easy task, and you can use multiple methods in order to achieve this.

Below you will find four user-friendly guides that allow you to easily transfer your iPhone contacts to the Galaxy Trend Plus. Pick whichever method you find most useful to you.

Using iTunes to Transfer iPhone Contacts:

iTunes allows you to sync your contacts from your iPhone to your Google account. In order to achieve this, you will need access to a computer that has iTunes installed. If you need to install the aforementioned program onto your PC, then visit Apple's official website and download the iTunes client.

    1. Open iTunes on your computer, and connect your iPhone to your PC using the proprietary USB cable
    2. After the iPhone has been connected, it should appear in iTunes
    3. Click on your iPhone in iTunes in order to access the phone's summary section
    4. Go to the "Info" tab
    5. Mark the "Sync Contacts With" check box and then select "Google Contacts" from the drop-down menu
    6. Enter your Google account's log in credentials if you haven't done so previously. Alternatively, click "Configure" and select a previously added Google account
    7. Click "Apply" and allow iTunes to sync your iPhone contacts with the selected Google account
    8. On your Galaxy Trend Plus, register the same Google account if you haven't done so before. (Simply go to "Settings" > "Accounts")
    9. Allow the Google account to sync the iPhone contacts with your Galaxy Trend Plus

Using iCloud to Transfer iPhone Contacts:

In case you have previously used iCloud on your iPhone, then your contacts should already be backed up. Using iClouds and a computer, you can transfer these contacts to your Trend Plus.

    1. On your computer, use the Internet browser and visit www.icloud.com
    2. Log in with your iCloud account
    3. Go to the "Contacts" section and select the contacts that you wish to transfer
    4. Click the icon located at the lower-left side, depicting a cog wheel. Then, select "Export vCard"
    5. Once the VCF file has been downloaded to your computer, import the file to Google Contacts. Alternatively, skip this step and perform the following:
    6. Connect your Galaxy Trend Plus to your computer using the USB cable, and copy the VCF file to the "sdcard" directory. Open the "Contacts" app on your smartphone, press the "Menu" key and select "Import / Export" > "Import from SD card" and select the VCF file

Transferring iPhone Contacts via "My Contacts Backup":

My Contacts Backup is an easy to utilize application that allows you to transfer contacts from your iPhone to your Galaxy Trend Plus, without having to use a computer. Instead, the contacts will be transferred via email.

    1. Using your iPhone, visit the App Store and download the "My Contacts Backup" application
    2. Open the app and go to "Backup". This will create a backup of your iPhone contacts, in the form of a VCF file
    3. Now, select "Email" and attach the VCF file to it
    4. Send the email to your own Gmail address – the one that you're using on your Galaxy Trend Plus
    5. On your Android handset, open the email containing the VCF attachment and download the file in order to import the contacts to your device

    Transferring iPhone Contacts Using "Bump":

Bump is a pretty interesting application that uses cloud computing in order transfer contacts from an iPhone to your Android device. Note that, while this method does not require you to have access to a computer, you do need an active Internet connection on both smartphones

    1. On your iPhone, download the "Bump" app from the App Store
    2. On your Galaxy Trend Plus, download the same app from the Play Store
    3. Launch Bump on both handsets and allow permissions if prompted
    4. Using your iPhone, swipe right until you get to the contacts section
    5. From the list of contacts, choose the ones that you wish to share with your Android handset
    6. After the "Bump now!" label appears in the top-right corner, gently bump your smartphones together
    7. Tap "Connect" on both devices to begin the transfer. Your previously selected contacts will now be copied over to your Galaxy Trend Plus
