If you lost your android text messages, you should not stop receiving new messages, and use some android sms recovery tool to restore them, but I cannot promise it can 100% recover lost messages!

how did you get on? do you back up your phone now using PC Companion?

Yes you could go forward with ***** SMS Recovery but still i am having a doubt the it will not recover the whole pack of SMS'es but yes i am sure that you are definitely going to get some of the messages.

I have the Galaxy SIII i9300,but living in Darkest South Africa I only have 4.1, I am not a geek,infact I'm a fiddler who knows not what he does.I have never been able to restore deleted mails or SMS's.Other than backing up all the junk you type(Ispeak for myself here) I cant find a way to restore deleted messages.You'd think that in a world full of geeks(some making big bucks) one of them would have come up with a restore doofa for people like me who is prone to the most stupid of mistakes.If you figure it out,I hope you make Mega-Bucks as you help zillions of idiots like me and---------

Hi all, I have been using Snapchat these days to chat with my friends so seems haven't been Real texting for long time. This morning I got a message from a VIP customer of his schedule to London next week. While I was about to dab on showing the text but what the hell!!! The phone crashed and rebooted automatically, not only my client's SMS but all messages stored on my phone vanished. No problem I can ask my client to send again his plan but what about the rest messages?! My brain stopped working at that exact moment.

I have been searching so hard for a solution to quick regain lost message from Android phone. Yes, forget to tell you that I am using Samsung GT-s5300. After reading and googling for ages, I find that "***** Android SMS Recovery" might be the most suitable tool for me at the moment.
