So this is the Optimus Chat, right?

For the weather try going into the app, and hitting the menu button. There may be an option to select your current location, which uses GPS. (you have to have GPS enabled)

For ringtones on individual contacts this may be difficult since the phone still uses Android 2.x. I'm not sure if it has the option or not, but try going to the contact hitting menu and see if there is an option for ringtone or a option for ringtone under the contact. If there is not you'll have to try an app that will do this like this:

I need a bit of help and these are probably obtuse, but please forgive in advance as I am tech challenged. 1.) I would like the home screen to reflect my current location/weather rather than closest major city, and 2.) I would like to assign different ring tones to different individuals/groups in my contact list. Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can provide.
