    Clearing App Cache:

If you have an application that doesn't run as it should, then you might be able to fix this issue by clearing the app's cache or data. WARNING! Clearing an app's data will result in deletion of data stored in the app, including login information, saved games and settings. To avoid this from happening, try clearing the cache instead and see if that fixes the issue.

    1. From the home screen, press the "Menu" button
    2. Tap "Settings" and access the "More" tab
    3. Touch "Application manager"
    4. Swipe to the desired screen, such as "Downloaded", "Running" or "All"
    5. Select the desired application
    6. Tap "Clear cache" or alternatively, tap "Clear data" and tap "OK" for confirmation

    Uninstalling an Application:

    1. Press the "Menu" button while on the home screen
    2. Tap "Settings" > "More" > "Application manager"
    3. Swipe to the "Downloaded" screen
    4. Select the app that you wish to remove
    5. Tap "Uninstall" and tap "OK"

NOTE: preloaded applications cannot be uninstalled. However, if a third party app doesn't allow you to uninstall it, then you'll need to reboot your device in Safe Mode and perform the task from there. Follow this link to learn how to reboot in Safe Mode and remove the app.

    Hiding / Showing Applications:

As mentioned above, preloaded apps (or "bloatware" as they're sometimes referred as) cannot be uninstalled. However, you can make their shortcuts disappear from your apps drawer by disabling them. To do so:

    1. Press "Menu" while viewing a home screen
    2. Tap "Settings"
    3. Tap "More" > "Application manager"
    4. Swipe to the "All" screen if necessary
    5. Select the desired app. NOTE: you can tap "Menu" > "Sort by name" / "Sort by size" if you can't find it
    6. Tap "Disable" and confirm by pressing "OK"
    7. To make the application visible again, access the "Application manager" screen, select the app and tap "Enable" > "OK". NOTE: when sorting by name, hidden apps might appear at the bottom of the list, and not in alphabetical order.
