I think there are definitely a best way for this. Using a tool to transfer iPhone contacts to a Lenovo is a good choice. But the problem is which tool you select, for some of they are just not suitable for human beings--either cost you too much time or too much efforts.

Lenovo S650 is the Android system, so if you want to transfer contacts from iPhone to Android, we can use FonePaw Mobile Transfer. It is an one-stop solution to copy and transfer contacts from iPhone to Android. There are 5 reasons why you should use it to transfer contacts:
    1. It is easy to use by one click;
    2. Efficient to transfer - completes the task in minutes.
    3. Transfer contacts with detailed info, for example, contact's name, phone number, email address, etc.;
    4. Fully compatible with all kinds of smartphone, such as iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, LG G4/G3, Ascend Mate 7.

Transfer Contacts from an iPhone to Lenovo, you can try to use Phone Transfer from Recovery-Android.com. I used it to copy contacts from iPhone 5s to Galaxy S6. It works well.

    Using iTunes to Transfer Contacts:

iTunes is a very complex application and is much more than a music player. It also offers sync options for your iOS device, and allows you to sync your iPhone's contacts with a Google account. As such, it's quite easy to transfer your contacts from iOS to your Lenovo S650. To do this, you need a computer with iTunes installed:

    1. Open iTunes on your PC
    2. Use the proprietary USB cable to connect your iPhone to your computer
    3. Once detected, the iPhone will appear in iTunes. Click it
    4. Go to the "Info" tab and place a check mark next to "Sync Contacts With"
    5. Choose "Google Contacts" form the drop-down list
    6. Enter your Google account's login and password. Alternatively, you can click "Configure" and select a previously added account, if existent
    7. To begin the syncing process, click "Apply"
    8. Switch over to the Lenovo device, and sign in with the same Google account. (To add an account, go to "Settings" > "Accounts")
    9. Allow the account to sync contacts with your device, and the contacts will be imported

Using iCloud to Transfer iPhone Contacts:

    1. Open your computer's Internet browser and visit https://www.icloud.com/
    2. Log in with your iCloud account, and click "Contacts"
    3. From the list of contacts, select the ones that you wish to export
    4. Click the "Settings" icon depicted as a cog wheel (bottom-left)
    5. Click "Export vCard" and your computer will download a VCF file
    6. Using "Google Contacts", import the VCF file. Or, alternatively, connect your Lenovo S650 to your PC, copy the VCF file to the "sdcard" directory and use the contacts app to import the vCard. Open the app, tap "Menu" > "Import / Export" and follow the on-screen steps

Using the "My Contacts Backup" App:

If you don't have access to a PC, then fear not. You can easily transfer contacts using various applications, such as "My Contacts Backup". The app converts your contacts in a VCF file which you can then send to your Android device via email.

    1. Install "My Contacts Backup" on your iPhone, via the App Store
    2. Open the application and tap "Backup"
    3. After the backup file is created, tap "Email" to attach it to a new email
    4. Use your own Gmail address as the email's recipient, and send it
    5. Switch over to the Lenovo S650 and open the email
    6. Download the file attachment and import its contents through the contacts application

    Using the "Bump" App:

If you're a fan of cloud transfer, then "Bump" is the right method for you. This app can transfer contacts via cloud, and you won't need a computer, NFC or Bluetooth connectivity. The only prerequisite is an active Internet connection on both your smartphones.

    1. Visit the App Store and install "Bump" on your iPhone
    2. From the Play Store, download the app on your S650
    3. Open the application on both devices, and allow permissions
    4. On the iPhone, swipe to the contacts section
    5. Select the contacts that you want to share
    6. After the "Bump Now!" message appears, lightly bump your smartphones
    7. If done correctly, a "Connect" button will appear on your smartphones' display
    8. Tap "Connect" to begin the contact transfer process via cloud
