    3. Tap "Mobile HotSpot" and clear the check box next to "Mobile HotSpot"

    Disabling Live Wallpapers:

Live wallpapers can impact your smartphone's battery life greatly, especially if they're CPU and GPU intensive. It's always a better choice to use pictures as wallpapers, if you wish to conserve battery life. To do this:

    1. Tap and hold an empty area on the home screen
    2. Tap the "Wallpapers" tab at the bottom
    3. Scroll to, and select the desired wallpaper

    1. Press "Menu" from the home screen
    2. Tap "System settings", scroll to "Device" and tap "Apps"
    3. Choose the application that you wish to edit
    4. Tap "Disable" to turn off the app. You can also tap "Uninstall" to completely remove the app. NOTE: only 3rd party apps can be uninstalled

Switching from 4G to 2G Connectivity:

    1. From the home screen, press "Menu" > "System settings"
    2. Tap "Networks"
    3. Scroll to "Tethering & Networks", and under "Network", tap "Mobile networks"
    4. Mark the check box next to "Use only 2G networks". NOTE: clear the check box to return to 4G

Updating to the Latest Firmware Available:

NOTE: this guide will increase battery life assuming that LG has released a new software update that includes battery life improvements. Otherwise, following these steps will not have an effect on your device's battery performance.

    1. Press "Menu" from the home screen
    2. Tap "System settings"
    3. Under "System" tap "About phone"
    4. Tap "Update Center" > "System updates" > "Check now"
    5. If there's a new update waiting for you, follow the on-screen prompts to download and install it
