    Using iTunes to Transfer Contacts:

iTunes allows you to sync your iPhone contacts with a Google account. It's as simple as that. Once synced, you allow the Google account to sync contacts with your Android device. Transferred contacts come with contact images, email address and any other available information. For this approach you need a PC with iTunes installed.

    1. Launch iTunes on your PC
    2. Using the proprietary USB cable, connect your iPhone to your computer
    3. Once the iPhone appears in iTunes, click it to view the summary page
    4. Go to the "Info" tab
    5. Mark the "Sync Contacts With" check box, and from the drop-down menu, select "Google Contacts"
    6. Enter your Google account's log in credentials if you haven't done this before. Otherwise, you can click "Configure" and choose an already added account
    7. Click "Apply" to begin the syncing process
    8. On your Liquid Z5, register the same Google account and allow it to sync contacts with your phone. NOTE: to add an account, go to "Settings" > "Accounts"

    Using iCloud to Transfer Contacts:

Assuming that you've used iCloud on your iPhone before, your contacts should be backed up to your iCloud account. With this method, you can export the contacts in the form of a VCF file for your Android device. To do this:

    1. Open your computer's Internet browser and visit https://www.icloud.com/
    2. Log in with your iCloud account
    3. Click "Contacts", and from the list, select the contacts that you want to export
    4. Click the "Settings" icon depicting a cog wheel and select "Export vCard"
    5. A VCF file will be downloaded on your computer
    6. Once you have the VCF file, you can perform one of the following two sets of steps:
      • Import the VCF file to Google Contacts and sync your Google account with your phone
      • Connect the Liquid Z5 to your computer via USB and copy the VCF file to the device's "sdcard" directory. Open the "People" app, go to "People" and press the "Menu" icon. Then, use the "Import / Export" function and follow any self-explanatory steps to import the contacts stored in the vCard file

Using the My Contacts Backup Application:

If you don't have access to a computer then you can perform a contact transfer through applications. "My Contacts Backup" is an iOS app that can back up your iPhone contacts in the form of a VCF file. The file can then be attached to an email and sent to an Android device.

    1. Go to the App Store and install "My Contacts Backup" on your iPhone
    2. Launch the app and press "Backup". This will create a VCF file
    3. Once created, tap "Email" to attach the file to it
    4. Send the email to your own Gmail address
    5. Switch over to the Acer Liquid Z5 and open the email
    6. Download the VCF file attachment and import its contacts through the "People" application

    Using the "Bump" Application:

Bump is quite an interesting app, compatible with both iOS and Android. It allows you to transfer contacts from one phone to the other via cloud, thus it doesn't require NFC or Bluetooth. You also don't need access to a computer, but you are required to have an active Internet connection on both smartphones.

    1. Install "Bump" on your iPhone from the App Store
    2. Visit the Play Store on the Liquid Z5 and download the same app
    3. Open the application on both devices, and allow permissions when prompted
    4. On the iPhone, access the contacts section
    5. From the list of contacts, select the ones that you want to share
    6. When the "Bump now!" label appears in the top-right area of the screen, you are ready to begin the transfer
    7. Lightly bump the two smartphones and a "Connect" button should appear on both devices
    8. Tap "Connect" and the iPhone's contacts will be transferred over to the Liquid Z5 via cloud
