Enabling and Managing Battery Saving Mode:

    1. Press the "Menu" key while viewing a home screen
    2. Tap "System settings"
    3. Under "Device", tap "Battery"
    4. Tap "Power saver" and tap the switch associated with the feature in order to set it to "ON"
    5. Select from the various options, such as the battery percentage at which the saver mode enables
    6. Mark or clear the check boxes associated with "Screen timeout", "Wi-Fi", "Auto-sync" and any other features that you wish to be enabled or disabled during power saving mode
    7. You can access more options by tapping the "Settings" icon next to "Brightness" and "Screen timeout"

Lowering the Screen Timeout Duration and Brightness:

    1. Press the "Menu" key while on a home screen
    2. Tap "System settings"
    3. Tap "Display" > "Brightness"
    4. Drag the brightness slider to the left, and set it to a lower, but still readable level
    5. Tap "Screen timeout" and choose a desired, lower timeframe, such as "15 seconds"

Disabling Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, GPS and Bluetooth:

It's highly recommended that you disable all connectivity features while not in use. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS are three of the most battery demanding features when not used properly. For instance, while not being connected to a Wi-Fi network, if left enabled, Wi-Fi will keep scanning for networks, thus greatly impacting your phone's battery life.

    1. Press the "menu" button while on a home screen
    2. Tap "System settings" > "Tethering & Networks"
    3. Tap "Mobile Hotspot" and clear the "Mobile HotSpot" check box
    4. Press "Back" twice until you reach the "Settings" menu again
    5. Go to "Personal" and tap "Location access"
    6. Clear the check box next to "GPS satellites"
    7. Return to the home screen and slide the "status" bar down
    8. Tap the "Wi-Fi" and "Bluetooth" icons, and set them to "OFF"

    Disabling Background Data:

    1. From any home screen, press "Menu"
    2. Tap "System settings" > "Mobile data"
    3. Press the "Menu" button and mark the "Restrict background data" check box

    Changing Sync Settings for Applications:

    1. Press "Menu" while viewing a home screen
    2. Tap "System settings"
    3. Tap "Accounts & sync" under "Personal"
    4. Clear the "Auto-sync data" check box
    5. Select applications to reduce syncing for each one individually

Minimizing the Use of Third Party Apps:

    1. Press "Menu" from any home screen
    2. Select "System settings"
    3. Under "Device", tap "Apps"
    4. Choose the application that you wish to edit
    5. Tap "Disable" to turn off the app, or tap "Uninstall" to completely remove the application from your phone

Switching from 4G to 2G Connectivity:

    1. Press "Menu" while viewing a home screen
    2. Select "System settings" and tap "Networks"
    3. Go to "Tethering & Networks", and tap "Mobile networks" under "Network"
    4. Mark the "Use only 2G networks" to disable 4G connectivity. Simply clear the check box to re-enable 4G

Updating to the Latest Available Software:

NOTE: Assuming that LG hasn't released any updates on the G Pro Lite that could increase battery life, following the steps below will have no effect on your smartphone's battery performance. This method works only if new software implementations have been made and are available for download.

    1. Press "Menu" from the home screen
    2. Tap "System settings"
    3. Under "System", tap "About phone"
    4. Tap "Update Center" > "System updates" > "Check now"
    5. In case an update is available, follow the on-screen prompts to download and install it
