Adding Email Accounts

Adding an Email Account Manually:

1. While viewing the home screen, press the "Menu" button
2. Tap "Settings" and go to the "Accounts" tab
3. Tap "Add account" > "Email"
4. Type in the your email address and password
5. Tap "Manual setup" and select between "POP3 account", "IMAP account" and "Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync" account
6. Edit the incoming email settings as necessary, and tap "Next"
7. Edit the outgoing email settings and tap "Next"
8. Set the desired retrival size, notification options, email check frequency and tap "Next"
9. Optionally, enter a name for the account
10. Type in the name you wish to be displayed on outgoing messages
11. Tap "Done"

Adding a Gmail Account:

1. While viewing the home screen, tap "Apps"
2. Tap "Gmail" > "Existing". Alternatively, you can tap "New" and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new Google account
3. Tap the "Email" field and type in the email address
4. Enter your email address' password in the appropriate field
5. If necessary, tap the "Back" key to hide the on-screen keyboard and tap the "Next" arrow
6. Tap "OK"
7. In the backup and restore screen, tap "Next"
8. Press the "Back" button and tap "Gmail" to access your email
9. To add more accounts, press "Menu" > "Settings" > "Add account"

Removing an Email Account:

1. Press "Menu" while viewing the home screen
2. Tap "Settings" and go to the "Accounts" tab
3. Select an account type
4. Tap your "email address" at the top of the screen
5. Tap "Remove account" twice to confirm

Managing Emails

Sending an Email using the "Email" App:

1. While viewing the home screen, tap the "Apps" icon
2. Tap "Email". If you need to switch to a different account, tap "Inbox" at the top of the screen
3. Tap the "Compose" icon located in the bottom-left corner
4. Enter the recipient's email address in the "To" field. Alternatively, tap "Contacts" and select a recipient from the phonebook, then tap "Done"
5. Optionally, type in the email's subject in the "Subject" field
6. To add an attachment, tap the "Attach" icon depicted as a paperclip
7. Select the desired file type, navigate to the desired file and tap it, then press "Done". NOTE: if necessary, tap "Always" or "Just once"
8. Tap the "Send" icon

Sending Emails Using the Gmail App:

1. From the home screen, tap the "Apps" icon
2. Open "Gmail"
3. Tap the "New" button depicting an envelope next to a "+" sign
4. Tap the "To" field and enter the recipient's email address
5. Enter a subject in the "Subject" field
6. Enter your message in the "Compose email" field
7. If you wish to attach a file, tap the "menu" icon" and select "Attach video" or "Attach picture"
8. Browse for the desired file and tap it
9. Tap the "Send" arrow in the upper-right area of the screen

Deleting Emails from the "Email" App:

1. Launch the "Email" application
2. If necessary, tap "Inbox" and select a different email account
3. Mark the check boxes associated with the email messages that you wish to delete
4. Tap the "Trash can" icon
5. Confirm by pressing "Delete"

Deleting Emails from the "Gmail" App:

1. Open the app drawer
2. Launch "Gmail"
3. Open the email that you wish to delete
4. Tap the icon depicting a "Trash can" icon
