    Transferring Contacts Using iTunes:

While iTunes is a great music player, the application also allows users to sync contacts from an iPhone to a Google account, making it very easy for the user to transfer iPhone contacts to an Android smartphone, such as the Galaxy S3 Neo. For this method you need a computer with iTunes installed and Internet access.

    1. Launch iTunes on the computer
    2. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
    3. Once it successfully connects, the iPhone will pop-up in iTunes. Click it to open the summary page
    4. Click the "Info" tab, and place a check mark next to "Sync Contacts With"
    5. Then, from the drop-down menu, select "Google Contacts"
    6. Enter your Google account's log in details. If you've already registered a Google account in iTunes, you can click "Configure" and select an existing account
    7. Click "Apply" to commence the syncing process between your iPhone and your Google account
    8. On the Galaxy S3 Neo, register the same account if necessary. (NOTE: if you need to add the account, go to "Settings" > "Accounts"
    9. Allow Google to sync contacts with your Android device

    Using iCloud to Transfer Contacts:

The iCloud backup service offers the possibility to export contacts as a VCF file. Assuming that you've used iCloud before, your iPhone contacts should be backed up on your iCloud account. For this approach you need a computer with access to the Internet.

    1. Open the Internet browser on your computer, and visit https://www.icloud.com/
    2. Sign in with your iCloud account and click "Contacts"
    3. Select the contacts that you want to export
    4. When ready, click the "settings" icon located in the lower-left side, and select "Export vCard"
    5. Your computer will download a VCF file containing your iPhone contacts
    6. Import the VCF file to Google Contacts, or, alternatively, connect the Galaxy S3 Neo to your computer and copy the file to the "sdcard" directory. Then, launch the "People" app, press "menu" > "Import / Export" > "import from SD card". Pick an account and load the VCF file to import the contacts

Using "My Contacts Backup" to Transfer Contacts:

"My Contacts Backup" is an iOS application that can help you transfer your iPhone contacts without access to a computer. Using this app, you can share your contacts in the form of a vCard file, which can be sent over to the Galaxy S3 Neo via email. Here's how:

    1. Visit the App Store and install "My Contacts Backup" on your iPhone
    2. Launch the application and tap "Backup"
    3. Once the backup file is created, tap "Email" to attach it to a new email
    4. Send the email containing the attachment to your own Gmail address
    5. On the Galaxy S3 Neo, open the email and download the vCard file
    6. Import the file's contents using the "People" app and the "Import / Export" function

    Transferring Contacts Through "Send Anywhere":

Using "Send Anywhere", iPhone owners can easily transfer their contacts to an Android smartphone, through a P2P connection. This app works on iOS and Android, and for this method you don't need computer access.

    1. Visit the Play Store and download "Send Anywhere" on your S3 Neo
    2. From the App Store, install the same app on your iPhone
    3. Open the application on both devices
    4. On the iPhone, tap "Send" and select "Contacts"
    5. Choose the contacts that you wish to share, and tap "Send"
    6. Lastly, select the desired method of transfer. Tapping "Receive" on the Galaxy S3 Neo will allow you to begin the transfer by entering the randomly generated code from the iPhone. You can also tap "Generate QR Code" on the iPhone, and scan the code with the Neo's camera to commence the transfer
