    Transferring Audio Files for Use as Ringtones

    Transferring Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect your smartphone to your computer via USB
    2. On the smartphone, swipe the "Status" bar down and tap "Connected as a media device" > "Media device (MTP)"
    3. In the AutoPlay window on the computer, click "Open device to view files using Windows Explorer"
    4. Open a different Windows Explorer window and navigate to where the desired audio files are located on your computer's hard drive
    5. Copy the desired files > open the first Windows Explorer window and paste the files on your phone's storage
    6. Once the transfer is complete, safely disconnect your smartphone from the computer

    Transferring Audio Files from a Mac Computer:

    NOTE: you need to follow the first 2 steps only if Kies is not installed on your Mac

    1. Open the Internet browser on your computer and navigate to SAMSUNG KIES
    2. Click "Download for Mac OS" and follow the instructions in order to install Kies
    3. Establish a USB connection between your smartphone and Mac
    4. On the Neo, swipe the "Status" bar down and select "Connected as a media device" > "Media device (MTP)"
    5. Launch Kies on the Mac
    6. From the Kies main screen, click the "Folder" icon associated with "Internal memory" or "External memory"
    7. In Kies, navigate to where you wish to copy the audio files
    8. Open a new window on your Mac and locate the desired audio files
    9. Drag the files, and drop them into Kies
    10. After the transfer finishes, safely disconnect your smartphone

    Adding Audio Files to the Notification and Ringtone List

    Adding Music to the Ringtone List:

    1. While viewing the home screen, press the "Menu" button
    2. Tap "Settings" and access the "My device" tab
    3. Tap "Sound" > "Ringtones" > "Add"
    4. Select either "Sound picker" or "Choose music track"
    5. Choose to open "Always" or "Just once"
    6. Select the desired audio files, and tap "OK"

    Adding Audio Files to the Notification List:

    1. Tap the "Apps" icon while on the home screen
    2. Tap "My files" > "All files"
    3. Navigate to the sound file that you wish to add to the Notification list
    4. Tap and hold the file, and select "Copy"
    5. Tap "Device storage" and open the "Notifications" folder
    6. Touch "Paste here"

    Setting Custom Ringtones and Notification Sounds

    Changing the Ringtone for All Calls:

    1. Press the "Menu" key while on the home screen
    2. Tap "Settings" and open the "My device" tab
    3. Tap "Sound" > "Ringtones"
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap "OK"

    Changing the Ringtone for a Specific Contact:

    NOTE: you can't assign custom ringtones for contacts that are saved on the phone's memory or the SIM card.

    1. Tap the "Contacts" app located on the home screen
    2. Select a contact
    3. Tap the "Edit" icon depicting a pencil
    4. Tap "Ringtone"
    5. Select the ringtone that you wish to assign and tap "OK"
    6. Tap "Save" to confirm

    Changing the Notification Sound:

    1. Press "Menu" while on the home screen
    2. Tap "Settings" > "My device" tab
    3. Tap "Sound" > "Notifications"
    4. Select the desired audio file and tap "OK" to confirm
