As far as I know its the latest hangouts, I've seen it updating a few times on the notification bar up top. And yeah, all my contacts are saved to Google and I loaded them from it.

I've seen other reports of incorrect time on the Nexus 5. There is something wrong with the way the phone communicates with the tower near you to fetch the correct time. Try this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...timecalibrator

Are you running the latest version of Hangouts? How did you import the contacts to begin with? Are they synced with google?

About a month and a half ago I got a refurbished Nexus 5 from my insurance (the brand new one I got for my birthday got a cracked screen) and it has been acting a bit buggy. It randomly sets the clock back an hour, one moment it will say it is 9:24 an a moment later will say 8:51 and be an hour behind until I reset the phone, and it also doesn't give names in Hangouts (it does for a few but most don't) but rather it just gives the numbers even though it has the names in my contacts list. It worked when I first got it but when I added a friend's new numbers to my People list it started doing this. Also not everyone on my Contacts is on my People list for some reason, though that has been a problem with every phone I've had in the last 6-7 years. And when I go to select someone to start a Hangouts chat with from the Hangouts menu it has even fewer names on the list. I tried calling LG but they said that they can't do jack and I'd have to call my insurance, and they were a massive pain to deal with the first time and I'll probably have to pay $100 dollars again. Is there any settings that might be messed up that is causing all this that I could change and fix before I have to go get a new phone again? I've already done a system reset the phone twice so that isn't doing it.
