    Installing HTC Sync Manager on a Computer:

    1. Open the Internet browser on your computer and visit HTC Sync Manager
    2. Download the HTC Sync Manager installer
    3. Once downloaded, open the installer and follow the on-screen steps to complete the installation process on your computer
    4. After the app has been installed, connect your HTC Desire 210 to your PC using the USB cable
    5. Once connected, the Desire 210 should appear in HSM

    Transferring Content from an iPhone:

    1. Connect both the iPhone and the Desire 210 to your PC via USB
    2. If it doesn't autorun, launch HTC Sync Manager on your computer
    3. Click "Home" > "Transfer & Backup"
    4. Click "Get Started" and launch iTunes on the computer
    5. Use iTunes to create a backup of your iPhone
    6. From HTC Sync manager, click "Next" and load the backup file from the iPhone
    7. Click "OK" and choose the content that you want to transfer from within the backup
    8. Click "Start"

    Removing or Copying Media Files:

    1. Connect the Desire 210 to your computer using the USB cable
    2. Open HSM on the computer
    3. Select the items that you wish to copy or remove
    4. To copy the selected items to your phone, click the "+" button
    5. To remove the selected files, click the "-" button

    Importing Documents from a PC:

    1. Establish a connection between the Desire 210 and computer via USB
    2. To switch between internal and external storage, click "Home" > "Sync Settings"
    3. Click "Files" > "Sync Settings"
    4. Select "Sync documents from the following location on this computer"
    5. Next up, click "Add" and choose the files / folders that you wish to import
    6. Click "Refresh"

    NOTE: to set HTC so that it automatically syncs data whenever the Desire 210 is connected to the computer, click "Home" > "Sync Settings" > "Sync automatically whenever the phone connects"

    Importing Media Files from the Desire 210 via HSM:

    1. Connect the Desire 210 to your computer via USB
    2. To select between the internal or external storage, click "Home" > "Sync Settings"
    3. In order to import audio files, click "Music" > "Settings" > "Copy all music from phone"
    4. If you wish to import videos and photos, click "Gallery" > "Settings" > "Automatically import photos and videos from phone"
    5. Finally, click "Refresh"

    Syncing Playlists and Data via HSM

    NOTE: Using HTC Sync manager you can easily sync bookmarks, contacts, calendar events and various types of data between the computer and smartphone

    On a Windows machine, HTC Sync manager can be used to sync data from Outlook 2003 or newer, Google Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer

    On a Mac, HSM can be used to sync from Apple Calendar, Address Book, Contacts, Outlook 2011 for Mac, Google Chrome, Safari and Apple iCal

    Syncing Data between a Computer and Desire 210:

    1. Establish a connection between the Desire 210 and PC via USB
    2. In HSM, click "Home" > "Sync settings"
    3. Mark the check boxes next to the data that you want to sync
    4. To customize sync settings, click "Settings"
    5. Lastly, click "Refresh" to commence the syncing (if this is the first time using the sync feature)

    Syncing Playlists:

    HSM can be used to sync playlists from Windows Media Player and iTunes. To do this:

    1. Connect the Desire 210 to your computer via USB
    2. Click "Home" in HSM, followed by "Sync Settings"
    3. Choose the location where the data should be synced
    4. Next up, click "Music" > "Settings" > "Sync selected playlists"
    5. Choose a playlist and click "Refresh"
