    Enabling Easy Mode:

    NOTE: Samsung's "Easy Mode" allows you to change your smartphone's user interface to a simpler layout that displays larger icons and a user friendlier home screen. The home screen in Easy Mode can also be customized in order to contain the most frequently used apps, favorite apps / contacts etc. To enable Easy Mode:

    1. Tap "Apps " while on the home screen
    2. Tap "Settings" > "Easy mode"
    3. Tap "Easy mode" one more time and select the applications to apply the simply layout to
    4. Tap "Done" to confirm
    5. To add more shortcuts to the Easy Mode home screen, swipe left and then tap "+"
    6. To add a contact, scroll right and then tap "Contacts"
    7. If you wish to delete shortcuts from the Easy Mode home screen, press "Menu" > "Edit", select an app / contact shortcut and then tap the "-" button next to it

    Managing the Home Screens

    Changing the Wallpaper:

    1. From the home screen, tap "Apps"
    2. Go to "Settings" and tap "Wallpaper"
    3. Select where you wish to apply the wallpaper
    4. Scroll through the wallpapers and then choose the one that you wish to set
    5. To set a wallpaper form a different location such as the "Gallery", tap "More images"
    6. Once you have selected the desired image, tap "Done" or "Set wallpaper", depending on where the image is located

    Creating Folders on the Home Screen:

    1. While on the home screen, press and hold a shortcut
    2. Drag the shortcut on top of the "Create folder" field
    3. Enter a name for the folder
    4. To add more shortcuts, tap "+" and select the desired apps
    5. Tap "Done"

    Adding Items to the Home Screen:

    • If you wish to add widgets to the home screen, tap and hold an empty space and select "Widgets". Then, tap and hold the desired widget, and drag it on top of the desired home screen
    • To move an item on the home screen, tap and hold it, and then drag > drop it in the desired location
    • To add app shortcuts, tap the "Apps" icon, and then tap > hold > drag and drop the desired app on top of the home screen
    • To remove an item located on the home screen, drag and drop it on top of the "Remove" button

    Home Screen Panel Management:

    • To add more home screen panels, swipe to the left and then tap "+"
    • To remove a home screen panel, enter preview mode, and then drag and drop the panel on top of the "Remove" area
    • To move a panel, tap and hold it, and then drag > drop it in a different location

    App Drawer Management

    Changing the View Mode and Hiding / Showing Apps in the Drawer:

    1. Tap the "Apps" icon while on the home screen
    2. Tap the "menu" icon and select "View as"
    3. Choose the desired viewing mode
    4. To hide apps, tap "Menu" > "hide apps"
    5. Mark the check boxes next to the apps that you wish to hide
    6. Tap "Done"
    7. To show an app, tap "Menu" in the apps drawer and select "Show hidden apps"
    8. Select the apps that you wish to make visible and then touch "Done"

    Rearranging the Shortcuts in the Apps Drawer:

    1. Launch the apps drawer
    2. Tap "Menu" > "Edit"
    3. To move a shortcut, tap and hold it, and then drag > drop it in a different location
    4. To move a shortcut to a different panel, tap and hold it and drag it near the edge of the screen
    5. To create a new apps drawer screen, tap and hold an app shortcut and drag it over the "Create page" area

    Creating Folders in the Apps Drawer:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Press "Menu" > "Create folder"
    3. Enter a name for the folder
    4. Tap "+" to add more shortcuts to the folder
    5. Tap "Done" to save the changes
