    Inserting the SD Card:

    1. Power off your smartphone
    2. Remove the back cover
    3. If necessary, insert a SIM card before inserting the SD card
    4. Insert the SD card in its slot with the contacts facing down
    5. Carefully push the card into the compartment, refit the back cover and power on your smartphone

    Checking the Free Amount of SD Card Space:

    1. Tap the "Apps" icon while on the home screen
    2. Tap "Settings"
    3. Tap "Storage" under "System"
    4. Under "SD card", view the "Available space" value

    Setting the Default Memory Storage

    NOTE: your smartphone stores most data from apps on the internal memory by default. You can, however, change this setting for certain apps to save data on the SD Card.

    Setting the Camera App to Use the SD Storage:

    1. Tap the "Apps" icon while on the home screen
    2. Tap "Camera"
    3. Touch the "Settings" icon located in the upper-left area
    4. Swipe up and then tap "Storage"
    5. Tap "memory card"

    Setting the Voice Recorder's Default Storage Location:

    1. From the home screen, tap the "Apps" icon
    2. Go to "Voice recorder"
    3. Tap "Settings" in the top-left area
    4. Swipe to and then tap "Storage"

    Changing the Internet App's Default Storage Location:

    1. From the home screen, tap "Apps"
    2. Open "Internet"

    Changing the Default Memory Storage Location for DLNA (Nearby Devices):

    1. Tap "Apps" from the home screen
    2. Go to "Settings"
    3. Tap "nearby devices" under "Connect and Share"
    4. Set the "Nearby devices" switch to "ON"
    5. Tap "Download to"
    6. Lastly, tap "SD card"

    Opening or Deleting Files Stored on the SD Card

    Deleting or Opening Files on the SD Card Using the Smartphone:

    1. Launch the apps drawer
    2. Tap "My files"
    3. Scroll to "Local storage" and then touch "SD card"
    4. Tap "SD memory card"
    5. Tap the "Menu" icon located in the top-right area
    6. Tap "Select" and mark the check boxes next to the desired content type
    7. Mark the check boxes to the left of the files and / or folders that you want to delete
    8. Tap "Done" and confirm by pressing "OK"

    Opening or Deleting Files from the SD Card via a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Galaxy S5 Sport to the computer using the USB cable
    2. Swipe the "Status" bar down
    3. Tap "USB connected" > "Connect USB storage"
    4. From the AutoPlay window on the PC, click "Open folder to view files" and then tap "OK"
    5. Open the "Card" directory, representing the SD storage
    6. Navigate to the files that you wish to delete or view
    7. Perform the desired steps, and then tap "Disconnect storage from PC" when you're done

    Opening or Deleting Files on the SD Card via a Mac Computer:

    NOTE: In case you already have Samsung Kies installed, you should skip the first 2 steps

    1. Open the Internet browser on your Mac computer and then visit Kies
    2. Click "Download for Mac OS" and follow any additional instructions to complete the installation
    3. Use the USB cable to connect the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport to the computer
    4. On the Galaxy S5 Sport, swipe the "Status" bar down and tap "Connected as a media device"
    5. Mark the check box next to "Media device"
    6. Launch Kies on the Mac and the Galaxy S5 Sport should appear under "Connected devices"
    7. From within Kies, navigate to the files that you wish to remove or view. You can easily locate your files by clicking the "Folder" icon associated with "External memory"
    8. Double click a file to open it
    9. To remove a file or folder, mark its check box and click the "Trash can" icon, followed by "OK"
    10. After you have performed the desired steps, click the SGS5 Sport drive on the desktop and safely disconnect your smartphone from the Mac

    Transferring Files From / To the SD Card

    Transferring Files from the SD Card to the Internal Storage:

    1. Open the apps drawer and launch the "My Files" application
    2. Scroll to "Local storage" and then tap "SD card"
    3. Tap "SD memory card" and access the external memory
    4. Locate the desired files and folders stored on the SD card
    5. Mark the check boxes next to the files that you wish to transfer
    6. Tap "menu" and then choose to "Move" or "Copy" the file
    7. Tap "Device storage" and navigate to the location where you wish to move / copy the file
    8. Tap "Move here" or "Paste here", depending on what your initial choice

    Transferring Files form the Internal Storage to the SD Card:

    1. Tap the "Apps" icon and launch the "My Files" application
    2. Scroll to "Local storage" and tap "Device storage"
    3. Navigate to where the desired files are stored on the internal memory
    4. Mark the check boxes next to the desired folders or files
    5. Tap "Menu" from the upper-right corner
    6. Tap "move", or "Copy", depending if you wish to create duplicates or not
    7. Tap "SD memory card" and go to where you wish to transfer the files on the SD card
    8. Tap "Paste here" or "Move here"
