Using Google Sync to Transfer Contacts:

NOTE: you can use your Google account to sync the contacts stored on the Galaxy Beam, which then allows you to re-sync the contacts from the Beam with the Galaxy K Zoom using the same Google account. The steps below will guide you throught the process:

    1. On the Galaxy Beam, sign in with your Google account
    2. Press "Menu" while on the home screen
    3. Tap "Settings"
    4. Tap "Google" under "My accounts" and then tap your "email address" or "user name"
    5. Clear and mark the "Sync Contacts" check box, or alternatively tap "Sync now"
    6. On the Galaxy K Zoom, register the same Google account as the one used on the Galaxy Beam
    7. From the Zoom's home screen, tap "Apps"
    8. Go to "Settings" and scroll to "User and Backup"
    9. Tap "Accounts", press "Menu" and then tap "Sync all"

Using the Contact app's "Import / Export" Function:

Using the default Samsung app you can export the contacts stored on the Galaxy Beam in the form of a VCF file which can then be transferred over to the K Zoom either via email or by using a computer.

    1. Open the "Contacts" app on the Galaxy Beam
    2. From there, access the "Contacts" tab
    3. Press "Menu" and tap "Contacts to display" > "All contacts"
    4. Tap "Menu" and select "Import / Export"
    5. Tap "Export to SD card" and type in the file's name before pressing "OK"
    6. Open the email client and compose a new email
    7. Attach the aforementioned file to the email (search it by name if necessary)
    8. Send the email to your own Gmail address
    9. On the Galaxy K Zoom, you should have received the email. Open it and download the attachment
    10. Launch the "Contacts" app
    11. Press "Menu" and tap "Import / Export"
    12. Select "Import from SD card" / "Import from SD card" and browse for the downloaded attached file
    13. If necessary, select an account before loading the vCard file

NOTE: Once you have created the VCF file on the Galaxy Beam, you can transfer it to the Galaxy K Zoom by connecting both smartphones to your computer via USB, and manually copy-pasting the file from the Beam's storage to the K Zoom's "sdcard" directory. Then, launch the "Contacts" application on the K Zoom and perform the steps above to import its contents

    Transferring Contacts via "Send Anywhere":

Last but not least, "Send Anywhere" is a third party application that can be used to transfer contacts without needing a computer.

    1. Go to the Google Play Store and install "Send Anywhere" on both of your Samsung devices
    2. Once the app has been installed, open it on both handsets
    3. From the Galaxy Beam, tap "Send" and select "Contacts"
    4. Mark the contacts that you wish to share
    5. Tap "Send" and select a method of contact transfer. By tapping "Receive" on the K Zoom, you can enter the transfer code from the Galaxy Beam in order to commence the transfer. You can also tap "Generate QR Code" on the Galaxy Beam, and scan the code with the K Zoom's camera to begin the transfer process
