Transferring Contacts via iTunes:

iTunes can be used to sync the contacts stored on your iPhone with your Google account. By doing so, you can then sync the contacts from the Google account with your Samsung Galaxy Ace 4. For this method you need a computer with Internet access and iTunes installed

1. Launch iTunes on the computer
2. Use the proprietary USB cable to connect the iPhone to your computer
3. After a successful connection, the iPhone will appear in iTunes. Click it
4. Go to the "info" tab and then mark the "Sync Contacts With" check box
5. From the drop-down menu, choose "Google Contacts"
6. Register your Google account in iTunes. If you've already done this, click "Configure" and select the account from the list
7. Start the syncing process by clicking "Apply"
8. On the Samsung Galaxy Ace 4, register the same Google account and allow it to sync contacts with your Galaxy Ace 4. NOTE: if you need to add an account, go to "Settings" > "Accounts"

Using iCloud to Transfer Contacts:

The iCloud backup service allows you to export the backed up contacts in the form of a VCF file. In case you have used iCloud on your iPhone before, then your contacts should already be backed up onto your iCloud account. You can access it via the Internet browser on your computer, and export the contacts for Android use, as explained below

1. Open the Internet browser on your computer and visit https://www.icloud.com/
2. Sign in with your iCloud account
3. Click "Contacts" and mark the contacts that you wish to share
4. Click the cog wheel icon located in the lower-left side of the screen
5. Select "Export vCard" and wait for your computer to download the file
6. Once you have the file, import it to "Google Contacts". Otherwise, skip this step and follow the next one instead:
7. Connect the Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 to your computer via USB and then copy the downloaded VCF file to the phone's "sdcard" directory. Then, launch the "Contacts" application and press "Menu" > "Import / Export" > "import from SD card". Select an account if necessary and load the VCF file

Transferring Contacts via "My Contacts Backup":

My Contacts Backup is an iOS application that can be used in order to export the contacts stored on your iPhone for Android use. This method doesn't require you to have access to a computer, but it requires you to transfer the file via email, as explained below:

1. Install "My Contacts Backup" on your iPhone via the App Store
2. Open the app and tap "Backup"
3. Once the backup file has been created, tap "Email"
4. Attach the file to the email and send it to your own Gmail address
5. On the Samsung Galaxy Ace 4, open the email and download the attached file
6. Import the file to your phonebook via the "Contacts" app and the "import / export" function

Transferring Contacts via "Send Anywhere":

Another third party app that can be used for contact transfer is "Send Anywhere". This iOS and Android app can transfer numerous types of files as well as contacts from one device to another cross-platform, via a peer-2-peer connection. As such, you don't need a computer in order to transfer your contacts using this method

1. Visit the Google Play Store and install "Send Anywhere" on your Galaxy Ace 4
2. From the App Store, install the app on your iPhone
3. Launch the app on both devices
4. On the iPhone, tap "Send" > "Contacts"
5. Mark the contacts that you wish to transfer and tap "Send"
6. Finally, choose a sharing method. You can tap "Generate QR Code" on the iPhone and then scan the code with the Galaxy Ace 4's camera to commence the transfer. Alternatively, tap "Receive" on the Ace 4, and enter the transfer code from the iPhone
