    Inserting the SD Card:

    1. Power off your device
    2. Remove the back cover
    3. Insert the SIM card if necessary
    4. Insert the SD card in its slot
    5. Push the card in its compartment carefully
    6. Refit the back cover and power on the smartphone

    Checking the Amount of Free SD Card Space:

    1. While viewing the home screen, tap "Apps"
    2. Tap "Settings"
    3. Scroll to "System" and tap "Storage"
    4. You can view the "Available space" value under "SD card"

    Setting the Default Memory Storage Location

    NOTE: by default, your smartphone will store data from most applications on the internal memory. You can change this setting for various apps, so that they will automatically save data on the SD card instead.

    Setting the Camera App to Use the SD Card as Storage:

    1. Tap the "Camera" shortcut while on the home screen / apps drawer
    2. Tap the "Settings" icon situation in the top-right area
    3. Tap "Storage" and select "Memory card"

    Changing the Default Storage Location for the Internet App:

    1. Tap the "Apps" icon while on the home screen
    2. Tap "Internet"
    3. Press "Menu" and then tap "Settings"

    Changing the Storage Settings for DLNA (Nearby Devices):

    1. From the home screen, tap "Apps"
    2. Go to "Settings"
    3. Swipe to "Connect and Share" and tap "Nearby devices"
    4. Tap the switch next to "Nearby devices" and set it to "ON"
    5. Tap "Download to" > "SD card"

    Opening or Deleting Files on the SD Card

    Deleting Files on the SD Card using the Smartphone:

    1. Open the apps drawer and tap "My Files"
    2. Scroll to "Local storage" and tap "SD card"
    3. Tap "SD memory card" and ta the "Menu" icon from the top-right corner of the screen
    4. Tap "Select" and mark the check boxes associated with the content type that you wish to delete
    5. Tap "Done" and confirm the removal by tapping "OK"

    Opening or Deleting SD Card Files using a Windows Computer:

    1. Use the USB cable to connect the Galaxy Ace 4 to your computer
    2. From the home screen, swipe the "Status" bar down
    3. Tap "USB connected" > "Connect USB storage"
    4. An AutoPlay window should pop-up on the PC. From there, click "Open folder to view files" > "OK"
    5. Open the "Card" directory and navigate to the files / folders that you wish to view or delete
    6. View or delete the files as you desire. When ready, tap "Disconnect storage from PC" and safely disconnect your smartphone

    Opening or Deleting Files on the SD Card via a Mac Computer:

    NOTE: Skip the first two steps if Kies is already installed on your Mac

    1. Open the Internet browser on your Mac and visit Kies
    2. From the webpage, click "Download for Mac OS" and follow the on-screen instructions to install the app
    3. Next up, connect the Galaxy Ace 4 to your computer via USB
    4. Swipe the "Status" bar down and then tap "Connected as a media device"
    5. Mark the check box associated with "Media device (MTP)"
    6. Launch Samsung Kies on the Mac and the Ace 4 should appear under "Connected devices"
    7. In Kies, navigate to the files that you wish to view or remove. To easily locate the files, click the "Folder" icon next to "External memory"
    8. Double click to open a file. To remove a file, mark the check box next to it and click the "Trash can" icon > "OK"
    9. Once you're done, click the Ace 4 drive on the Mac's desktop and safely disconnect / eject the smartphone from the computer

    Transferring Files From / To the SD Card

    Transferring Files from the SD Card to the Internal Storage:

    1. Launch the "My Files" application
    2. Scroll to "local storage" and tap "SD card"
    3. Touch "SD memory card"
    4. Navigate to the desired files and folders on the SD card
    5. Mark the check boxes associated with the files that you wish to transfer
    6. Tap "menu" and select to "Copy" or "Move" the desired file / folder
    7. Tap "Device storage" and navigate to where you wish to copy / move the file
    8. Tap "move here" or "paste here"

    Transferring Files from the Internal Storage to the SD Card:

    1. Tap "Apps" > "My Files"
    2. Go to "Local storage" and tap "Device storage"
    3. Locate the desired files stored on the internal memory and mark their check boxes
    4. Press "Menu" from the top-right corner and select "Move" or "Copy"
    5. Tap "SD memory card" and navigate to where you want to transfer the files
    6. Tap "paste here" or "Move here"
