    Getting Your Audio Files

    Transferring Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Galaxy S5 mini to your computer via USB
    2. From the home screen, swipe the "Notification" bar down
    3. From the notification area, tap "Connected as a media device"
    4. Tap "Media device (MTP)"
    5. From the AutoPlay window that will appear on your computer, click "Open device to view files using Windows Explorer"
    6. Locate the directory where the audio files will be transferred on your smartphone
    7. Open a second Windows Explorer window on your computer
    8. Navigate to where the audio files are stored on your computer's HDD
    9. Copy the desired files and paste them on the phone's storage
    10. Once the transfer is complete, safely disconnect your smartphone from the PC. Click the mass storage device icon located in the system tray

    Transferring Audio Files from a Mac:

    NOTE: Assuming that Samsung Kies is already installed on your Mac, you should skip the first 2 steps:

    1. Open the Internet browser on the Mac and visit Kies
    2. Click "Download for Mac OS" and follow the on-screen instructions in order to install Kies on the Mac
    3. Connect the Galaxy S5 Mini to the computer via USB
    4. Swipe the "Notification" bar down and then tap "Connected as a media device"
    5. Mark the check box next to "Media device (MTP)"
    6. Launch Kies on the Mac
    7. Click the "Folder" icon associated with "External memory" or "Internal memory" in Kies, and navigate to where you wish to transfer the audio files from the computer
    8. On the Mac computer, locate the desired audio files and drag them in Kies
    9. After the transfer is complete, safely disconnect the Galaxy S5 Mini from the computer

    Managing Ringtones and Notification Sounds

    Adding Audio Files to the Ringtone List:

    1. Press "Menu" while viewing the home screen
    2. Tap "Settings" > "Sound" > "Ringtones"
    3. Tap "Add"
    4. Select to use "Sound picker" or "Choose music track"
    5. Tap "Just once" or "Always"
    6. Select the desired sound files and press "OK"

    Adding Audio Files to the Notification List:

    1. Tap "Apps" while on the home screen
    2. Open "My Files" and tap "All files"
    3. Locate the desired audio files
    4. Tap a file and touch "Copy" > "Device storage"
    5. Go to the "Notifications" folder and then tap "Paste here"

    Changing the Ringtone and Notification

    Changing the Phone's Ringtone:

    1. Tap "Menu" while on the home screen
    2. Tap "Settings" > "Sound"
    3. Tap "Ringtones" and select the desired ringtone
    4. Touch "OK" to confirm

    Changing the Ringtone for One Contact:

    NOTE: You can't add custom ringtones to contacts that are stored on the smartphone's internal memory or the SIM card

    1. Tap "Contacts" while on the home screen
    2. Tap "Edit" and select "Ringtone"
    3. Choose the ringtone that you wish to set and then tap "OK"
    4. Tap "Save" to confirm

    Changing the Notification Sound:

    1. From the home screen press "Menu"
    2. Tap "Settings" > "Sound"
    3. Tap "Notifications"
    4. Select the desired notification sound and tap "OK"
