Clearing an Application's Cache / Data:

NOTE: In case one of your applications is not working properly, then you may be able to fix these issues by clearing the app's cache or data.

WARNING! Clearing an application's data will result in the deletion of all personal information stored within the app, including saved games, profiles, settings, credit card details etc. As such, to avoid losing your data, it's recommended that you first try and clear the app's cache and see if that fixes the issues.

    1. From the home screen, tap "Apps"
    2. Go to "Settings" and access the "General" tab
    3. Scroll to and tap "Apps"
    4. Select the desired application
    5. Tap "Clear cache"
    6. If clearing the cache hasn't helped, tap "Clear data" too and press "OK"

    Clearing the Phone's Cache Partition:

NOTE: If your smartphone doesn't work as it should, it freezes, crashes, is unresponsive etc. then you might be able to fix these problems by master resetting your device. However, before applying a factory reset (which will wipe all personal data stored on the internal memory and will return the device to factory settings), it's recommended that you first try and fix these problems by wiping the cache partition.

    1. Tap "Apps" from any of the home screens
    2. Go to "Settings"
    3. Tap the "General" tab and go to "Storage"
    4. Wait for your smartphone to finish calculating and tap "Cached data"
    5. Press "OK" and wait for your device to clear the data. NOTE: depending on the amount of cached data being cleared, the process may take a few moments or several minutes
    6. Once the cache partition has been wiped, the storage screen should refresh with no data displayed

NOTE: If clearing the cache partition hasn't solved the issues, then you can try factory resetting your smartphone. For a full guide on how to reset the LG G3 Cat.6, visit this link

    Safe Mode Management

NOTE: A smartphone's "Safe Mode" can be really handy in situations where you have installed an application that constantly runs processes in the background, and prevents you to uninstall it while it's running. In safe mode, all third party apps are disabled.

To enable safe mode and uninstall an app:

    1. Power off your smartphone
    2. Reboot the handset and wait for the "LG" logo to pop-up
    3. When the logo appears, press and hold the "Volume Down" button
    4. Keep pressing the key until you see the home screen. A "Safe Mode" label should be displayed in the lower-left corner
    5. Now that you're in safe mode, tap "Apps" to begin uninstalling an application
    6. Next, go to "Settings" and swipe to "Applications"
    7. Tap "Application Manager" and swipe to the "Downloaded" screen
    8. Select the app you wish to remove and tap "Uninstall" > "OK"
    9. To exit safe mode, press and hold the "Power" key, and tap "Power off and restart"
