    Using iTunes:

NOTE: With the help of iTunes you can sync the contacts stored on your iPhone with your Google account. Once that step is done, you can set your account so that it syncs contacts with your Android device, completing the transfer. This method requires access to a computer with iTunes installed and an active Internet connection

    1. Open iTunes on your computer
    2. Use the proprietary USB cable to connect the iPhone to the computer
    3. Once the iPhone connects, click it in iTunes to reveal the summary page
    4. Go to the "Info" tab and mark the check box next to "Sync Contacts With"
    5. Click the drop-down menu and select "Google Contacts"
    6. Type in your Google account's log in credentials. Alternatively, if you've added an account prior to this guide, you can click "Configure" and select an account from the list
    7. To begin the syncing process, click "Apply"
    8. Next up, pick up the Hydro Vibe and register the same Google account on it, if necessary
    9. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Kyocera

    Using iCloud:

NOTE: A different method that requires access to the Internet via a computer is with iCloud. Assuming that you've used the service on your iPhone before, then the contacts stored on your smartphone should be backed up on your iCloud account. By logging in to your account you can export these contacts in the form of a VCF file for Android use.

    1. Launch the Internet browser on your computer
    2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
    3. Go to "Contacts"
    4. Mark the contacts you wish to share
    5. Click the "Settings" icon located in the lower-left area of the screen
    6. Click "Export vCard" and the file will be downloaded on your PC
    7. Import the file to "Google Contacts" or skip this step and follow the next one instead:
    8. Connect the Kyocera Hydro Vibe to your computer via USB, and copy the VCF file to the phone's storage. Next, launch the "People" app, go to the "Contacts" tab and press "Menu" > "Import / Export" > "Import from storage". Select an account if necessary and select the VCF file to import the contacts

    Using "My Contacts Backup":

NOTE: In case you wish to transfer your contacts without needing a computer, you can use various third party applications in order to get the job done. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up your contacts, and export them via email.

    1. Go to the App Store and install "My Contacts Backup" on your iPhone
    2. Open the app
    3. Tap "Backup" and the VCF file will be created
    4. Tap "Email" and compose a new email with the VCF file attached to it
    5. Send the email to your Gmail address
    6. On the Hydro Vibe, open the email and download the vCard file
    7. Import its contents using the "People" application and the "Import" option from the menu (as explained above)

    Using "Send Anywhere":

NOTE: Finally, "Send Anywhere" is yet another application that can be used for transferring contacts and various types of files from one smartphone to another, cross-platform, without needing a computer. To use this method:

    1. Visit the App Store and install "Send Anywhere" on your iPhone
    2. From the Google Play Store, install the same app on your Kyocera Hydro Vibe
    3. Open the application on both smartphones
    4. On the iPhone, tap "Send" > "Contacts"
    5. Select the contacts you wish to transfer and tap "Send"
    6. For the final step you'll need to select a sharing method. You can tap "Receive" on the Hydro Vibe in order to commence the transfer by entering the randomly generated code from the iPhone. Alternatively, tap "Generate QR Code" on the iPhone, and scan the code with the Vibe's camera to begin the process
