Contact Management

Adding a New Contact:

1. While viewing the home screen, tap "People"
2. Go to the "Contacts" tab
3. Press the "Add contact" icon
4. Select to store the contact on the "Phone", "SIM" or "Google" (account)
5. Enter the contact's name and phone number in the appropriate fields
6. Provide any additional optional information as you see fit
7. When ready, tap "Save"

Importing Contacts from the SD Card:

1. Launch the "People" app
2. Press "Menu" > "Import / Export"
3. Tap "Import from SD card"
4. Choose the contacts you wish to import or tap "Select all"
5. Tap "Import" and press "Yes" to confirm

Exporting Contacts to the SD Card:

1. Tap "People" while viewing the home screen
2. Press "Menu"
3. Select "Import / Export" and tap "Export to SD card"
4. Mark the contacts you wish to export, or optionally tap "Select all"
5. Tap "Export" > "Yes"

Importing Contacts form the SIM Card:

1. Launch the "People" app and press "Menu"
2. Tap "Import / Export" > "Import from SIM card"
3. Choose to import the contacts on your "Phone" or on a "Google" account
4. Mark the contacts you want to import or tap "Select all"
5. Tap "Import" and press "yes"

Exporting Contacts to the SIM Card:

1. From the "People" app, press "menu" > "Import / Export"
2. Tap "Export to SIM card"
3. Select the contacts you intend to export. Optionally, tap "Select all"
4. Tap "Export"
5. Confirm the process by tapping "yes"

Adding a Contact to Speed Dial:

1. Launch the "Phone" app from the home screen
2. Tap the "Dialpad" tab
3. Press "Menu" and select "Speed dial setup"
4. Tap the dial pad number you wish to use (NOTE: the "1" key is reserved for voicemail and cannot be assigned)
5. Select the contact you wish to associate with the dial pad number

Deleting a Contact:

1. Open "People"
2. Tap "Contacts" and navigate to the desired contact
3. Tap the contact and press "Menu"
4. Tap "Delete" and press "OK" to confirm

Caller Group Management

Creating a Caller Group:

1. From the "People" application, access the "Groups" tab
2. Tap the "Create group" icon depicting a "+" next to three contacts
3. Choose to save the group on the "Phone" storage or a "Google" account
4. Type in the group's name
5. Tap "Save"

Adding Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

1. Open the "People" app
2. From the "Groups" tab, select the desired group
3. Press "Menu" and tap "Edit"
4. Tap "+ add new" and select the contacts you wish to add to the group
5. Tap "Done" and press "Save" to apply the changes
