    Insert the SD Card:

    1. Turn off your smartphone and remove the back cover
    2. Insert the SD card into its tray with the gold contact facing down
    3. Refit the back cover and reboot your smartphone
    4. Once the smartphone restarts, tap "Apps" while viewing one of the home screens
    5. Tap "Settings" and swipe to "Device"
    6. Tap "Storage" > "Mount SD Card"

    Removing the SD Card:

    1. From the phone's "Settings" menu, swipe to "Device"
    2. Tap "Storage"
    3. Tap "Unmount SD card"
    4. Turn off your smartphone
    5. Remove the back cover and the SD card

    Checking the Available SD Storage:

    1. Access the phone's "Settings" menu
    2. Under "Device" tap "Storage"
    3. Swipe to "SD Card" and check the "Available" value

    Format the SD Card:

    WARNING! When you format the SD Card, all data stored on it will be deleted, so if necessary, it's recommended that you create backups before moving on.

    1. Tap "Apps" from the home screen
    2. From the phone's "Settings" menu, swipe to "Device"
    3. Tap "Storage" > "Erase SD Card"
    4. Tap "Erase everything" to confirm

    Opening or Deleting SD Card Files

    Using the Smartphone:

    1. Tap "Apps" from the home screen
    2. Launch "File Manager" and tap "All files"
    3. Tap "SD card"
    4. Tap a file or folder to open it
    5. To delete a file or a folder, tap and hold it and then tap "Delete"
    6. Confirm by tapping "Yes"

    Using a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the LG G3 S to your computer via USB
    2. Drag the "Status" bar down and tap "USB Connected" > "Connect USB storage"
    3. From the AutoPlay window on your computer, click to "Open folder to view files"
    4. Open the drive associated with the SD Card
    5. After you've viewed and / or deleted the desired files, tap "Disconnect storage form PC"

    Transferring SD Card Files

    Using a Windows Computer:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the LG G3 S and your PC
    2. Swipe the "notification" bar down
    3. Tap "USB connected" > "Connect USB storage"
    4. In the AutoPlay window, click to browse the phone's folders
    5. Open the "Removable Disk" directory
    6. Transfer the desired files from / to the SD card
    7. After the process is done, tap "Disconnects storage from PC"

    Transferring Files from the Internal Memory to the SD Card:

    1. Tap "Apps" on the home screen
    2. Open "File Manager"
    3. Tap "All files" > "Internal storage"
    4. Navigate to the desired files stored on your phone's memory
    5. Select the check boxes associated with the desired files and / folders
    6. Tap "Menu" and select "Move" or "Copy"
    7. Tap "SD memory card" and navigate to the destination folder
    8. Tap "Move here" or "Paste here", depending on your initial choice

    Transferring Files from the SD to the Internal Memory:

    1. Open the "File Manager" app
    2. Tap "All files" and select "SD card"
    3. Locate the files / folders you wish to transfer
    4. Select the desired items
    5. Press "Menu" and tap "Copy" or "Move"
    6. Tap "Device storage" and navigate to the location where you wish to transfer the files
    7. Tap "Paste here" or "Move here"

    Changing the Storage Location for Apps

    NOTE: Most pre-loaded applications (such as the "Camera" app) save data on the internal memory by default. You can, however, change these settings so that the SD Card is used instead.

    Change the Camera App's Storage Settings:

    1. Launch the "Camera" app from the home screen
    2. Press "Menu" and tap "Settings"
    3. Tap "Memory" and touch the "Memory" icon
    4. Select "SD"

    Change the "Internet" App's Storage Settings:

    1. Launch the "Browser" application
    2. Press "Menu" and tap "Settings"
    3. Go to "Advanced" > "Select download storage"
    4. Tap "SD card"
